Richie Hawtin or Josh Gabriel

So... this saturday. Richie Hawtin is playing at Cinespace, and Josh Gabriel (of gabriel and dresden) is playing at the avalon... not to mention roger sanchez at the vanguard, but that's another story.

So my question is
1) who should I see, hawtin or gabriel? it's hard because hawtin is minimal and gabriel is trance/progressive house...
not too familiar with hawtin's dj work as i've never seen him before, and i wasn't too impressed with gabriel and dresden when i saw them in sf, but some sets i've downloaded have been my favorite.

2) which club is more likely to accept my ID? I have a pretty legit fake and I'm used to arguing it (I def don't look 21) but i'd rather not deal with the hassle.

for me, i'm choosing richie hawtin and magda, but i LOOOOVE techno, so it's a no brainer for me

this could be a very hard decision for some people though, it all depends man

as far as the i.d. thing, i have no idea, i'm 30, and when i was 21 i just went to raves anyhow, haha, so the i.d. didn't matter much....either way, no matter what you end up doing, i hope you have a great time =)

Hawtin, no question. While Josh Gabriel should be better now thaqt Dave Dresden isnt dragging him down, Richie is still the superior act.
