Ravers In The Film Industry

I am just curious to see how many ravers are involved in production particularly in post.

I'm an encoder myself and I've met a couple. I dunno for some reason it just seems that the same kind of people who rave are similar to (post) production kind of people,

Rockin' all aspects from pre to post, but definately love doing post...

Interning at company my dad is head of that does Completion bonds/Insurance for mostly independent films. Kind of a middle man between production and banks.

I'm currently attending film school and do directing and post work. Production aspect is stressful as hell though, I don't think I want to go into the industry haha. I still do a lot of indie short's for fun, and take a lot of editing/post jobs though. Easy money.

i'm thinking about majoring in film and going into the film industry. i'm just a graduating senior in high school, though. i would definitely go into it, but the difficulty of the industry is what's making me have second thoughts.
oh, and i'm great at editing/postproduction. at least for a high school kid.
