programs similar to fl studio

I've been playin aroudn with FL Studio 8 lately, but ive gotten kinda bored with it, and wanted to try some other programs, similar to it that have good synth tones and good bass kicks. Any suggestions?

ABLETON LIVE. If your gunna start producing might as well start right dude.

And if your looking for good synth tones and bass kicks that all depends on you man. its all about how you eq compress and master a track. It's a lot of work and it takes a lot of time, but your end product will sound great.

ive never seen or heard of fruityloops until last year. lol ive never seen the layout or have seen anyone use it before. is it any good? or is it just a beginners program?

FL Studio can do some very advanced shit. To be honest most people look down on it. Also, Basehunter made his entire cd in FL studio. Give it a shot, it's crazy stuff....

What most people who use fl do though is bounce it down into a separate DAW to master it, hence why the guys who say they produce using FL actually have ood sound quality. Thats my gripe with the program. I started on fruity loops and worked my way into ableton and now I'm completely addicted to the program. You can master in it along with writing, plus its super great for off the wall ideas.

logic studios is what ive used and liked its very easy to use and has great features in it

i want to try out abbleton though i heard it was really good

i tried out reason but didnt like it that much so as for now im just gonna stick to the logic studios
