This stupid drama has gone on long enough. I'm going to say to each of you what I have to say and then you can flame me or whatever you want. I'll be busy being productive and I don't care.

BRETT (epop):

I don't really know you too well but we talked about this situation a couple of times, and as best I can gather, Tim has wronged you in the following ways:

1. Tim declined to book you to perform at WinterFresh because the lineup was already complete.

2. Tim was slow in paying you for some web design and/or hosting.

3. Tim was kind of rude to you on the phone.

Okay, NEWSFLASH: Tim is rude to A LOT of people, I've been friends with him for 10 years, believe me, I know. And 99.9% percent of the people who Tim is rude to simply shrug their shoulders, say "Wow, what a jerk," and then go back to doing whatever it is in their life that makes them happy. They do this because they are rational people.

I have seen nothing that's been done to you by Tim or anybody he's involved with that warrants such an extremely distasteful response. If you continue to react with such venom every time someone declines to book you, is slow in paying you, or is rude to you on the phone, then that venomous anger will become a cancer that will eat your soul.

I strongly urge you to pursue some martial arts or tai chi training that will help you to grow spiritually and respond to conflicts more rationally, because at this rate, you'll be done in by ulcers and high blood pressure by age 30. I don't know if you still use acid, but I can tell you with 100% certainty that acid is not the answer.

I have never said anything disparaging about you and I don't think I ever would. You're a good person and I respect you a great deal.

TIM:

I know you think that all publicity is good publicity, but I don't. Responding to these sorts of attacks only makes them grow, like a fire. With no response given, these sorts of things tend to become boring and not entertaining. Just throw your party.

And you really should be nicer to everyone, you'd be amazed at the wonderful things that happen to you as a result.

You know, I got into the rave scene over 10 years ago and I've stayed with it for so long because raves make people happy.

None of this arguing and bickering makes anybody happy.

Life is short and everyone should be conscious of the fact that we are living in uncertain times, and no one is sure what the future holds, or if we even have much of a future at all. We should cherish and savor every day that we are blessed to have, and always do whatever it is that makes us happy.

And shame on us as a scene for regressing into such a petty, lousy bunch. Let''s go back to when raves made people happy.

Good to know someone is trying to keep the peace though, props.

From what you've said though, if someone talked to me rude over the phone god knows they aren't going to talk to me like that in person. I don't appreciate being talked to like a bitch... that makes me want to throw down. You can see the frustration though... if someone is going to talk to anyone it should be with respect... seems that Tim has disrespected him on several levels.

lol you won't see me around here too much, i'm awfully busy

but i'll drop in from time to time whenever adult leadership is needed

i just want the parties to be the best they can be and for everybody to have fun. i've gotten so much from this rave experience and i don't want the next generation to feel like they came up short.

me and tabby would be in that video too , but we were frying balls and hiding under a tree from the evil sun lol!
