Nocturnal Tips for newbs/1st time NOS goers

Thought i'd help out some of you. This is mostly coming from my own opinions, but i hope it helps some of you out. Also, this is coming from Noc 06 @ the NOS which i think will be pretty much the exact same set up.

Ok, I, personally, am going just regular admission this year. This is due to Noc 06 had 1 VIP area with drinks...........just one, so if you were at Bassrush, and you wanted a free VIP drink you had to walk your ass all the way to the other side, chug it real quick, and walk all the way back lol. Also you couldn't leave that area with free water, sodas or drinks. So you had to chug whatever free beverage you got before you could go back to the party. The "special views" from the stages are there is an area right next to the stages that you can go on if you have VIP to overlook the crowd. Not the same stage as the DJ's, but you can still over look the crowds. The special "restrooms" get just as dirty, if not worse, because there is only that restroom for all the VIP people. THere is PLENTY of places to use the restroom at the NOS. Seating is benches for VIP. THere is a nice huge grassy area for everyone else, and people usually just sit and chill there. $20 says the "ravelinks meet up" is going to be on/by the bridge.

If you can only drink, and/or only like to drink, then VIP is good for you. Drinks are very strong, and out side of the VIP they are $6-7 for beer and $8-10 for mixed drinks.

Right now on Groovetickets VIP-$100 and GA- $55 I'll take that extra $45 and put it to something else like gas and other things.

The NOS arena is a really nice venue. Main stage will probably be indoors and either the Electrodome or Alices House will be the only outside area.

There is plenty of room to walk around, and plenty of room to dance.

PS- Tofu, i should slap you for saying you can't wait for A&B.

Im pretty new to Southern Cal and have been wondering for awhile, where exactly is this Arena? Ive heard alot about NOS but I dont know anything about it

It's off highway 395 in Adelanto , Ca

They usually do Baseball games there, its pretty close to the dirtbike track

i find it lame that insomniac hasnt put a site map up yet. if they really do it the 06 way then i may not get a vip ticket after all (and just roll epic balls all night). that looks really fuckin lame. although im pretty good at sneaking water bottles out of vip so thats not really a concern, im tremendously dissapointed by the lame ass view and distance from everything else =(.....hmmmmm

anyways, is nocturnal really a massive? ): i thought it was a mini-massive? i've never been to a small rave.. i want to experience a smaller rave. i'm always so broke after massives so i never get to go :/

does it get really hot in the main stage since it's gonna be indoors? i hope it stays well-ventilated. i dont want to breathe recycled air for hours and hours.

yes this is a massive lol. 30,000+ people


last year they fuckin maxed out the venue and it was shoulder to shoulder at mainstage. -_-. which is why i bitch so much about them not letting us back into vip. it was the only safe place to be lol
