Because astrix had a back surgery a few mos back... apparently it got infected and ended up in the hospital with a stalf (sp) infection, so in place he sent X-Noize instead... that was something beyond Fresh's control, and fresh was not notified until a few hours before his set by Astrix's manager.

I dont really care because it was a trance DJ but I dont belive that they didnt know until a few hrs before the show. And as soon as they did now they should have sent out myspace bullitins and posted in on thier page. Look at Insomniac when Boys Noise couldnt come. They posted they wouldnt be there and had them make an officail statment. Did Fresh do any of that? If not SUPER SHADDY. If they did then good lookin out for Fresh.

wtf are you talking about? insomniac had a major fucking headliner just VANISH from the lineup the week of Nocturnal last year with no announcements or anything at all. if we're shady for being to busy to stop production to go home and blast bulletins the day of setup, then i guess theyre super shady too because they have a full staff of people working for them, and thats just in their online department.

It's kind of hard to believe that you didn't have sufficiently advance notice that a DJ who was *flying in from israel* wasn't able to make it to let people know somehow that one of your show's headliners wasn't going to be playing. I'm not saying you were shady (or "shaddy", whatever that means) or that you decieved people intentionally, but it is poor form to fail to announce that a major draw to your show won't be performing. Have other production companies done it? Yes, and it's shitty when they do it to. Don't point to the failings of other production companies to justify the failings of yours. Apologize and do better next time.

I've been to two Fresh productions - Winterfresh and Fresh Squeezed - and both of them have had major problems. I'm not suggesting that either of them were entirely within your control, but it's how you handle those things that come up unexpectedly that really test your mettle. Frankly, I feel like Fresh failed on both accounts.
