ooh torrent thread.

i have a question:

so I got a client program, found a site, and went to download a tv episode.
the file showed up on the torrent program but it wouldnt connect or it would start downloading but go no where (aka..must have been going horribly slowly)

is this because there werent enough seeders or am i missing something here?

yea. when you look for the file, you wnat a file with alot of seeders. like 100+ minimum is ideal

ahh gotcha. Are there any good torrent sites that will have 100+? and how long do your downloads usually take tofu?

it depends a lot on how old or new the program is. Usually I just google *name of program* torrent into google and it brings up a list and i get it that way or just go to a torrent site and get em that way

i usually use mininova.org for all my movie shit. they have a high number of seeds normally. but you can try the links that people posted above too


my dls take anywhere from 6-10 hours for a movie cuz my connection fluxes up and down. i know some people get stuff faster though
