My school has been freshed!

As I started walking home from my tennis match I noticed that my school had been freshed! All I could see in the parking lot and around the streets were fresh flyers and a few wet naps.





It's not gonna help promoting at my school since most my classmates don't like raves and the ones that do get turned off by the idea of there being other kids from my school going. Made my day tho... lol

and its a WASTE of money.

I thought the wet naps were a great way to promote. Useful and I actually was interested in putting them in my pockets. Fliers get thrown on the ground immediately by so many.

Yeah man.. and I don't know if this is just a California thing or a SoCal thing specifically but when I drove up to Oregon, the further north I went it seems like the less trash there was everywhere on the streets. By the time I got to Portland I hadn't seen trash for a loooong time. Oregon has awesome hippies like that, haha.

Klover how do you compare litter in Socal vs Norcal? Are they just as careless there? Granted there are areas in socal that are pristine as well, but overall it's pretty bad I would say.

I agree, littering sucks. Yet it's a pretty smart idea if you don't have that many fliers left. Handing flyers to complete strangers, as Mitch Hedberg puts it, is like saying "Here. *You* throw this away." (lol for "normal" people, though ravers tend to collect them) I'm sure they did plenty of this already.

BUT

Leaving a small pile like that in a high traffic area like a school means curious kids will want to see what it is, and I wouldn't put it past them to pick one up and check it out. They might not know what it is, but if it looks cool enough and it's not completely gross they might even take it home with them, or at least read it.


Besides, does it really matter to Freshmoney Millionaires if they lose a few flyers? As much money as they make? Promoting is obviously not a problem for this crew.

haha EVERYWHERE has been freshed. i went to venice beach the other day and each of the little shops had a stack of fresh flyers. good promoting, but i agree with everyone talking about littering. think about the world!
