INTRO and PICTURE!

[Rave_n_my_balls_off]

a few friends and I just moved to LA. We got our first taste of what we considered "rave" culture one random Saturday night at the Avalon ( i know, i would laugh at me too). I have been into trance for a while and now that im out of North Carolina, I can start going to shows and enjoying the scene. I saw tiesto in Vegas and then at the Vanguard the other week. Then we went to EDC and its been on from there. I threw together a little video of our night on yourtube.

Anyway... I'm in college to get a degree in engineering... I play bass (hence the name)... I aspire to be a brewery owner/brewmaster... I have terrible insomnia, but I love to sleep... I constantly astound friends and strangers alike with the astounding amount I know about an astounding breadth of things... get to know me, I'm pretty sure that it's worth doing.


Sadly I no longer look like this... but it's still pretty much the way I see myself in my own head, so it stays.


And this is me about 3 days ago.

Hey dude, I went to school in pittsburgh out of high school too. and fuck that...now i'm back at sdsu after coming back and doing a few years in comm. college. so which school to go to back east. i was at carnegie mellon (nerd school) doing engineering as well...civil. but ya got the hell out to the warmer location known as so cal and doing business now. people back east just aren't the same...

Shit, dude... I'm at CMU, actually. Going back for sophomore year on academic probation . Too right about the east coasters... we'll see if I make it through another year or come back to so cal, too.

haha what i'd LOVE to go to school on the east coast (especially at a school like that!), but i don't think i could handle being so far from everything i've know.

Getting away is the main reason I went out there...but ya it was just too much culture shock for me. Pittsburgh is incredibly....blue-collar. AND freezing balls keeping everyone inside in the winter months. And I just like the sun and outdoors too much for that. Plus it's a really hard school...esp engineering. Good luck though man, all my friends that just graduated from there have really sweet jobs...pretty much whatever you want to do...which for me is more along the lines of hahaha

Yeah, it was definitely all about getting away. Culture shock wasn't too bad, I just need to be able to stick it out for the academics... I'm not used to having to work hard to get good grades, to be perfectly honest. But no way am I living anywhere with cold winters after I graduate, if I can help it.

Name's Matt, sometimes my friends call me the Prophet though :P Sometimes they just call me queer, haha.

Anyway, I'm 19 years old (20 on the 21st), from Laguna Beach, now living in Irvine/Newport Beach.

I work at the illest place, THIZZNEYLAAAAAAND! Character department forEVER! XD

So if you're going there anytime soon, you better HOLLER! Not a better place in this world to get down on illegal substances

First rave was HSII 2k2....yes, I was in fucking 8th grade, hahaha....all I can say is I was fucking BORN with robot ears XD

I'm also a singer, musician (Keys, bass, drums, guitar, and programming), producer (Need someone to cut you a record? I'm your man!) and DJ (Not really, I don't own a pair of tables right now....so all I'm doing is mixing shit together in Ableton...best I can do for now!)

So if you're a musician and like to get down with other people, holler, I am ALWAYS down for grooves. OR if you need someone to play with you on a recording, someone to record YOU, etc etc....let me know. Always down to help out my fellow musicians

Does anyone know anyone else I can get some advice on starting the clothing line? Could you yourself help? Production is our big problem right now

I can pay you back in drugs....loooots of drugs

Anyway, I've been wanting to join for a while now, and after EDC, I just felt I should.
