no need to take the item and the packaging, thats how you get caught... if you have the item in your pocket and its not in the package they cant do anything to you till they can prove you took that item, which means you have to have been seen somehow...

I am only talking about other people stealing minor things (such as inovas). I don't do this, myself. All I'm saying is I know some people can't afford to even pay for cheap rave tickets so stealing minor shit is not as crooked as it may seem.
