i think we are all immortal in the sense that our souls are eternal. being human and having a body is only a temporary phase in a greater cycle.


as for the oldest living specie. its actually a bacteria that was in a frozen state for 40 million years or so but i could be wrong im not a biologist or anything . but yeah the tree is still way cooler. i saw some nova special about this ancient bacteria in a cave that was extremely old. it only splits into two once every thousand years i think its amazing how something can live for so long it makes living to 70 seem like nothing
