For guys, mostly, but girls are known to appreciate this just as much....


There is a place in Santa Monica and Redondo Beach called:

"Harvelle's"

The bassist in my band happens to play bass for their Tues. and Fri. night
band called "BONGO FURY", which sounds like hard, jazzy house played
by a live band, with a lot of slowing down/speeding up at will...

Well, this place also happens to be a Burlesque Show. In case any of you
don't know what that is:
It is a classy and tasteful show, done by girls who wear crazy lingerie and
other things, and they dance so well, and do these themed little dance routines
that are so awesome: truly talented dancers (99% of the time)
It's NOT a strip joint; they don't get naked at all, and don't tend to seem slutty.
There is also a dance crew called "SASSY MINX" that has a bi-monthly burlesque show on
Fridays, and BONGO FURY is their backup band as well!!! That show is more risque, but never
nude.
It's really an awesome time.


Well, I go at least once a week since I usually get in on the guestlist, primarily
to see my friend play in the band...but the show is well worth it.

You're right, it wouldn't load in there...
They play on Tuesday nights in Santa Monica. It's the smaller of the two Harvelle's venues, but no less.....wonderful......hahah
I would highly recommend going there first, then some other time, go to
the Redondo location on the 1st Fri of the month, I believe, I'll let you know more accurately what the dates are for "SASSY MINX" get back in a sec
