POP is May 24th, Memorial Day weekend. I'm pretty broke right now so I won't be going to any parties in April but I really would like to go to Full on Ferry. But I'm going to save my money for POP in May because I'm also going to have to pay for a hotel room for one night since I will want to shower before heading back home the next day and don't feel like sleeping in my car after a rave so POP will be my next party. Pretty sure I'm just going to be at all the massives for the rest of the year. POP, EDC, Nocturnal, Monster Massive, and Together As One.

Hopefully I'll run into you at any of those!

CLIFF NOTES AT BOTTOM (i wouldn't read all this if i didn't know me either)

me = old dude in bboys shirt and a bucket hat

sorry guys... i'm the one who screwed up the conga line... around the world started and i absolutely lost it... i literally couldn't stop my body from dancing...

then i realized i'd lost apollo and the rest of the crew... front and behind...

fortunately i was so driven by the music i finally trudged forward to the front and wahlah you guys were tearing it up, up front...

crowding - there were a TON of ppl there no question. however i was able to find room to dance at any time of the night in any area of the venue... i feel really sorry for you if you need a golden roped off portion of the dance floor for yourself to have a good time (sometimes my wife fits in this category)... i skirted around the sides... danced next the the djs on both sides in the main room in the back of the main room and amongst the masses at its most crowded in the main room... wherever i wanted in the dnb and third areas... the extra tickets sold did not effect my evening at all other than security shutting down ( trying to anyway) the passthrough early...

those were the best sets i've heard in LA... granted this is only my third show in LA... but they were playing the kind of music i like... i dunno if you guys realize this but atb was actually producing some of those beats not just spinning them...

the energy was astounding... it literally floored my wife for a good portion of the second half of the night which kinda sucked... standing up on the second level looking down on the main floor was electrifying... you could almost visibly see onelove in the air... big ups to everyone that was willing to pack in like that...

underage kids being fucked up makes baby jesus cry and me too

i hate dnb with heart and soul... somehow someway i actually went to the dnb area willingly and enjoyed it... briefly...

the venue was stellar imo... the architecture and set up made for an outstanding show that could be enjoyed many different ways...doubt you guys actually know or care that much about masons or the shriners and i'm not gonna get into it as it's not the time nor place but at the very least you should know that you literally helped poor children that need vital medical care at the most practical sense... unfortunately insomniac invited children into a place that i don't feel they should be at... so that one's almost almost a wash for me...

shoutouts to the parents that stood as wall flowers... at least they had the courage to face what their kids are into and decided to become a part of it as opposed to just letting their kids sneak off...

RL peeps - only a couple of you realize who i am probably but here goes anyways

i had no idea there were so many of you there till i read this thread... sorry i didn't meet more of ya... i hunted every one of you down towards the end of the night and somehow missed you all... and i was in the front too :/

rowdy - soooooooo glad to hear that you made it out ok... was pretty worried about you... we sorta mosied off after your babysitter came back to tend to you and couldn't find you again

klover - u're the fucking man... so cool... so chill...

masquerade - man saw you at turtle but didn't say hi and am glad we finally met... you really know how to enjoy a rave

sweet-e - is properly named and opened my eyes to the wonders of vibrating lite massagers... really nice guy... very genuine

showstoppa - super cool RL'er wish we could have talked more...

notes - glad to have met you as i've read your posts as a lurker and now a poster for a while... sorry if we have to introduce ourselves a third time cuz i still can't remember what you look like

dude in the green shorts and headband - forgot your RL name but that's fair cuz you did too lol... really nice dude glad you reached out to me as we have a common bond that wouldn't have been realized had you not said something to me

apollo - we never actually met i don't think but i could tell that you really got the vibe and i respect that alot

i lmfao cuz this is by faaaaaaaaaaaar the longest ass post i've EVER posted anywhere about anything

CLIFFS - i had a great fucking time and insomniac rox

You guys really brought up my vibes, you're all awesome. I hardly roll or do any kind of drugs but for some reason I wasn't having the greatest time, but as soon as I met you guys BOOM!!! sooo chill. Awesome night, first of many meet ups.

Peace, Love, Unity, and Respect.

Just a little FYI for anyone who met me (Kori or Party Girl) at ETD Love or How Sweet It Is, I've changed my name to Harmony. I was named at Love but it doesn't suit me, so after opinion on top of opinion I've decided on Harmony. Sorry for the confusion. HUGS!

Its good to know that there are older responsible people in the scene as well. Not saying us young adults need babysitters but it definitly helps the scene's rep. You should have introduced yourself, I would have been happy to give you a lightshow haha, as for the venue I am not ignorant of the Shriner's history and find it alittle ironic that a rave was indeed held there. As for the underage kids, thats something that does need to change. It saddens me that its is part of the scene....I really don't know what can be done about it besides better parenting. I also share your dislike for drum n bass, it just gets alittle to hectic most of the time. Anyway I'll see you at the next meet up hopefully. Peace!

Klover, it is always a pleasure
Katskan, i'm sure you're tired of hearing this... but you are fierce! and you got the groove.
Rowdy, I know you were having a good time.
It was mad fun ripping the floor with ya'll for Shake & pop.
Unfortunately I stepped away for a few minutes and everyone was gone from the front. Ran into LuSid again when ATB went on. It was so fucking crowded in the front... it was not a good place to be, if you know what I mean. He played a pretty bomb set though... not ashamed of liking anthem trance.
But nothing compared to Glaude. I have seen Glaude 5 times including last night, and goddamn if he didn't play the best fucking set last night, not to mention since Lovefest LA.

The night went by so quickly... and it was fucking crowded, but all in all a good night.

What did you guys think?

P.S. the guy with the cornrows who was holding the sign for the most of the time...Sorry I forgot your name! But I still have your jacket! let me know who you are you so i can pm/myspace you my number so you can get it back.

IT WAS FUCKING AMAZING!!!

AND I WAS OUTSIDE!!!!
