And I think the vibe there was better than even most other raves. Everybody was so approachable and friendly, again even more than usual.

Sooooo true about Green Velvet. That was the first set I've heard from him and I fell in love. ON another hand you're so right about the people, it made the atmosphere so cloud nine like.

on another note, did anybody see the fucked up guy climbing the lighting fixtures during ATB?? he climbed up the vertical tower, then monkey'd across the scaffolding where he was greeted warmly by security and hauled away. i was waiting for it to collapse and see serious injury occur, but alas my bloodthirst was never quenched...

Hey everybody, this was my 2nd massive (4th rave). I went with my brother and we both had a kickass time.

In the beginnin, I was just feeling like I wasn't sure what to do. I explored the venue, danced and received light shows but for the first hour mentally I felt like I was still adjusting to the place. After that hour I was much more able to live "in the moment" and just enjoy whatever I was doing.

Outdoors was SUPER CHILL with the full-moon lighting the sky like crazy and everybody wearing skimpy shit cause the weather has officially warmed up.

Eye-candy is great and all, but when I saw any tastefully/classy dressed girls/women, I told them they look fantastic. Sometimes they really pull off the sexy-look without having to show all their skin and I find it totally awesome.

I relaxed and spoke to many, many people casually. I even spoke to the fire-fighter there and thanked him for looking out for all of us. He mentioned he had to deal with 2 OD's so far that evening (by 1am) which didn't really surprise me.

I don't think I met anybody who wasn't rolling which makes for an amazing crowd and very free flowing vibes, I like that, lots of love everywhere. That's what I love.

I didn't have any nifty lights to give light shows so I gave a lot of people head and neck massages. That was my first time doing that at a rave and I think people really enjoyed them!

Oh man! Some cool shit happened!!! I received kandi for the first time and got a raver name!!!

My raver name is "Across The Universe" (cause i loved the beatles) Thank you whoever you were that did that, I wish I could remember all your names but you know I love you.

Upstairs was totally fucking tight. When they first opened the stairs, I was dancing and skipping joyously using like ALL THE SPACE I COULD. Time seems to stop in those moments.

The D&B was seriously amazing and while I'm not a giant-fan of D&B but whoever I heard between 10 and 11 was totally badass.

The water was "relatively-reasonable" @ $3 a bottle. I could sorta live with that.

The place never felt overcrowded at all, there was enough room for everyone to spread out. I really liked seeing the cuddle-puddle oceans form, hehe.

Personally the only thing that sort of saddened me was when it was around 3am and people started leaving. It sort of kills the mood for me when you notice the place is starting to empty out.

Man... I wish there was "more time" between 9pm and 4am. Anytime a rave is over, i'm always rolling very strongly still and I always wish i could stay there for a few more hours. Anybody else feel that way? I'm guessing if I go to Electric Daisy Carnival, since it's much longer, I will get all my satisfaction in one nice 12 hour long event.

And something else I noted, I would probably be more comfortable going to an 18+ rave because I'm 24 and I know some of these younger girls feel uncomfortable talking to a random guy who clearly looks older. Sometimes it's really obvious they're paranoid even if I'm briefly telling them something like "hey your hair looks awesome!" To me it seems the paranoia is irrational but then again, I'm not a girl and I haven't had to deal with creepy guys before so I can understand.

Anyway...i met lusid, showstoppa, barretblade, and whiteknight for the first time at the RL meetup too. The conga-line was dope. I hope to see more new and old faces in the future. Peace all!

BTW, 5HTP = Working good considering last night was the hardest I've ever rolled in my life and I have no crash at all like I've experienced in the past, I still feel like I'm rolling even now.

i did this at TAO, but just up the vertical light tower. was very nice to be 20 feet above the crowd. but the way you describe this guy doing it....pretty stupid.

i wasn't rolling. still had a good time. i actually tend to randomly meet more sober people...when im sober.

try finding a psytrance/goa party to go to. tend to be older crowds.

I saw that guy cause for the first half of ATB's set I was up on the 2nd floor watching the crowd. For a second I thought it was Andre himself doing something crazy but then realized it wasn't, hah!

I remember you! You were holding the sign for a little bit so I thought I'd hold it up for a little while. You showed me your name tag and the name looked really familiar but now I can tie everything together.

And the 5HTP is working great for me too. I only took one pill that night and it had me going REAL good for ATB and Donald Glaude. Kept thinking I was going to have a Shitty Sunday but got home, took a nice warm shower, took a 5htp and jumped into bed with my soft blanket. Woke up and felt very nice, I got the after-glow effect as well. I just feel great! Glad you had a great night!

Desgyn texted me to go to the back and I found him and we were looking for others but then I spotted the sign over to side and we went over there. You guys are all really chill people, the congo line was fun as fuck and the dance circle was the shit. I had to split a little bit after meeting some of you guys to go find my neighbor who I was supposed to be watching the whole night.

(Sorry if I forget some people)

Notes: Thanks for the vicks and the joint offer. You were with me and my friend for quite awhile. Was singing Ecstasy with you when ATB opened up next to the speaker but damn was it packed! Thanks for being our wingman but I lost you cause I got lost with the women haha! Hope you had a great time after we got split up.

Klover: Sick moves in the dance circle man! Was nice to finally get to meet you in person. Never stop dancing!

Desgyn: Thanks for texting me to meet-up, I donno if I wouldve found the meet-up without you. Hope you had an awesome night. I forgot the name of your friend that you were with but he was another Ravelinker.

Katskan: Nice outfit! You were tearing up the dance circles girl! You looked sick with the lights and everything! You were behind me in the congo line I thought I lost you for a second a couple time! AROUND THE WORLD AROUND THE WORLD! Was a good song for a congo line!

AH! I met soooo many new people that night and have so many names in my head I'm trying to remember everything and put faces to the names! So if you remember meeting me and mention something we said I'm sure I'll remember you!

And who was the very tall white guy with the blue and white orbitals at the meetup? I do remember talking to you and giving people my light diffraction glasses when you would give others lightshows but I can't remember the name! Whitenight I think? Not sure...

And of course...

Casperette: She doesn't post on here much but How Sweet was her first rave and I'm not sure if she will even see this post but she is a really awesome and down to earth girl. I saw her at the meetup and ran into her later in the night and spent a good 3 hours with her. Danced with her all through ATB's AMAZING set and all through Donald Glaudes set. ATB blew my fucking skull out! Man those 2 stole the night! Man I did not stop dancing through either of those sets and I lost my voice from singing all the lyrics from ATBs set! Can't WAIT to rave with you again! And she was sober for her first rave which, in my opinion, was a really good decision to make. Got her info and keeping in touch with her to be able to meet her at the next party. "I was wrong to let you go" Man I love that song!

Again, sorry if I forgot to mention anyone in this post and I hope all of you had a SWEET night like I did.

Lucid

Lucid I had sooo much fun dancing with you! I didn't tell you this but I was kind of bummed and just blah cause everyone I was dancing with before was all tired so when I saw you and you asked me to dance I was like yaaayyy! So glad I got to meet you and I hope the little massage helped your lower back. Thanks for being so nice and friendly, especially since it was my first rave. :] Can't wait to see you again at Electric Daisy Carnival
