I was another one of those singing as loud as I could through all of ATBs set! I knew the lyrics to like 99% of his set! I lost my voice from so much yelling/singing that night.

Insomniac would like to extend an enormous THANK YOU to everyone who came out for How Sweet It Is this past weekend! It was a truly amazing event and we are extremely grateful to have such strong support from everyone this year. We hope everybody enjoyed the new layout that allowed us to nearly double the capacity of previous years and accommodate a sellout crowd of nearly 8,000 revelers! From the forest-covered stages to the huge amounts of sound we brought in this time, Saturday was just a glimpse of what Insomniac has in store for the rest of 2008. Thanks again to everybody who came out and made How Sweet It Is part of their Easter weekend - we can't wait to see everybody in June for Electric Daisy Carnival!

was a great rave - loved when ATB played Toca Me and Glaude played One More Time - really enjoyed myself but was very packed during ATB - during Glaude though it started to clear up and i had more room to lightshow and dance. The upstairs balcony was great for cooldowns, watching all the lights and stuff - but as everyone else has said already - it was really really crowded during ATBs set and i missed out on being with my crew during his opening song Ecstasy =(. overall 9/10 in my opinion - almost everything went right =

Desgyn texted me to go to the back and I found him and we were looking for others but then I spotted the sign over to side and we went over there. You guys are all really chill people, the congo line was fun as fuck and the dance circle was the shit. I had to split a little bit after meeting some of you guys to go find my neighbor who I was supposed to be watching the whole night.

(Sorry if I forget some people)

Notes: Thanks for the vicks and the joint offer. You were with me and my friend for quite awhile. Was singing Ecstasy with you when ATB opened up next to the speaker but damn was it packed! Thanks for being our wingman but I lost you cause I got lost with the women haha! Hope you had a great time after we got split up.

Klover: Sick moves in the dance circle man! Was nice to finally get to meet you in person. Never stop dancing!

Desgyn: Thanks for texting me to meet-up, I donno if I wouldve found the meet-up without you. Hope you had an awesome night. I forgot the name of your friend that you were with but he was another Ravelinker.

Katskan: Nice outfit! You were tearing up the dance circles girl! You looked sick with the lights and everything! You were behind me in the congo line I thought I lost you for a second a couple times! AROUND THE WORLD AROUND THE WORLD! Was a good song for a congo line!

AH! I met soooo many new people that night and have so many names in my head I'm trying to remember everything and put faces to the names! So if you remember meeting me and mention something we said I'm sure I'll remember you!

And who was the very tall white guy with the blue and white orbitals at the meetup? I do remember talking to you and giving people my light diffraction glasses when you would give others lightshows but I can't remember the name! Whitenight I think? Not sure...

And of course...

Casperette: She doesn't post on here much but How Sweet was her first rave and I'm not sure if she will even see this post but she is a really awesome and down to earth girl. I saw her at the meetup and ran into her later in the night and spent a good 3 hours with her. Danced with her all through ATB's AMAZING set and all through Donald Glaudes set. ATB blew my fucking skull out! Man those 2 stole the night! Man I did not stop dancing through either of those sets and I lost my voice from singing all the lyrics from ATBs set! Can't WAIT to rave with you again! And she was sober for her first rave which, in my opinion, was a really good decision to make. Got her info and keeping in touch with her to be able to meet her at the next party. "I was wrong to let you go" Man I love that song!

Again, sorry if I forgot to mention anyone in this post and I hope all of you had a SWEET night like I did.

Hahaha were they really charging $30-$40 for parking? jesus christ, street parking ftw.

I was pleasantly surprised by the line situation, expecting winterfresh/Together As One-esque multiple hour endeavor, but rather had a wait of maybe 3 or 4 people on the street side lines.

The place was crowded, but all in all, except for atb's set, there was at least a little distance between people to move around. however, the constant motion of dazed druggies running into/pushing past me and mine was getting fucking ridiculous as the night progressed. I see you're fucked up beyond comprehension and in a dazed drug stare, but come on have some fucking common courtesy (or keep catching my elbows to your abdomen).

Dear guys: do you think everyone in the party is rolled out of there mind? Making it ok to try to kiss and/or molest any girl that catches your fancy? granted there was an extreme surplus of cock at the party, but get some game ffs... your never goin to catch a girl by coming up and humping her leg in an attempt at 'dancing'

dnb was pretty tight, cept when they got too hip hoppy.

the laser set up in both rooms was pretty freakin sweet. good idea bouncing them off the mini disco balls.

green velvet wasn't as rockin as i expected, but still pretty good nonetheless. he kinda blew it with some of his track selection imho.

atb sucked bawls... i recalled a much more enjoyable set last year, but maybe it was just the ecstasy crush i had with me at that party.

The end of the nite was rather comical, starting with them stopping entrance to the main room from outside around 330....under the presupposition that it was 'over capacity.' hahah there were like 3000+ more people in there for atb's set.

anyway we head over to dnb, here a couple from Rush & Optical, the mc's build up for ONE LAST SONG.......then 3 minutes later they come back and say nevermind. hahahh.
Ah because too many asians always make the rave bad...

...of course. -_-;

I was at Wicked too. Super small party, but it was nice to have some room and the vibe was really chill. The music was alright but overall it just wasn't a great party. Monster Massive 07 was my first rave!

Yeah I did notice that it cleared up after ATB, I liked that actually. It was pretty cleared up for Donald Glaude and gave me some room to actually solo dance for a bit but I was dancing with Casperette for all of ATB's set. I'm glad everything went right for you. There wasn't too much wrong with my night, I'm so glad I met Casperette! Shes an awesome Ravelinker and I'm glad I was able to welcome her to the rave scene cause How Sweet was her first rave.

Your lightshows looked really sick with diffraction glasses on, keep up the work on the orbitals. Are you going to be at POP? I'm sure you're not going to miss Electric Daisy Carnival. But I got my tickets for POP and Electric Daisy Carnival already. Hope to see you there!

POP is going to be up in San Francisco! Tiesto, Ferry Corsten, Markus Schulz, DJ Dan, Donald Glaude, Lee Coombs, Sharkey, and a bunch of others. ROAD TRIP! I think its kind of like the NorCal Electric Daisy Carnival.

Daft Punk at EDC would = SEX

Thats good that you don't roll too often, I respect those people. I enjoy being sober at raves, they are still just as fun if not even more fun being sober! But I decided to take one pill for ATB and Donald Glaude. Woke up the next morning feeling great so I guess thats a good sign.

Stop complaining about the fucking e-tards. They'll always be there. ATB had a great set, most notably his take on Tiesto's Carpe Noctum. Donald Glaude bumped it pretty hard. DnB was good, I absolutely loved the outdoor tent setup. Not too hot like inside, but not too cold at all.

Looking forward to EDC.
