How Sweet It Is 2008?

im definitely considering going to HSII this year, as long as it's not on 3/31 again. i have prior plans for that day.

i've been to both of the SOLD OUT How Sweet's over the last two years, and each time was ridiculously incredible and memorable. especially the drum and bass they had playing. i can't say too much for the main areas, except the greenskeepers played this year, and they were bomb (and a whole mess of people keep busting nuts over ATB) and as far as everything else; soundsystems, cool/fun/beautiful people, stage decorations, having water food and bathrooms readily available... HSII had it all.

and i mean, I GO TO IT... I ONLY GO TO LIKE 5-6 PARTIES A YEAR... and if it's good enough to be one of those for me, you know it has to deliver.

anyone who speaks ill of this party is either a fucking sore idiot who probably couldn't get a ticket, or a promoter or enthusiast of another crew/party... like POP.

but really, with so much cool shit in so cal, i say FUCK DRIVING TO NOR CAL JUST TO PARTY.
i've never been to a POP, and probably never will, unless i happen to be in SF when a POP is happening, for a different unrelated reason.

POP was actually worth the drive last year, Christopher Lawrence alone is worth the drive. Benny Benassi sucked juevos rancheros though, Infected ruled, Mark Farina kept my body moving non-stop..its actually worth experiencing..then if your smart and dont get too fucked up you can enjoy San Fransisco the next day like my friends and I did! It's a ravacation! I don't know why theyre doing it in February this year and they just announced it so close to the date..oh well. I saw ATB @ Vanguard the other night so that show blew my mind (and I was sober)!

the main reason im sure that its goin on is because on Bassrush's website ,right before TAO, there was a little section where you can comment about TAO and people were complaining about the state side DJ lineup and that they shoulda brought in more UK dj's and Bassrush responded with "if you want a great uk lineup then stayed tuned for HSII"

Agreed. HSII was sick and when i refer to it, i say how sweet it was cuz it was surely a bad ass night. Shy Fx in the drum n bass ripped face and i had totally forgotten until someone mentioned the drum and bass. Dont hate on the good times and say that one was better than the other. You make it wat it is and opinion judges the better.

I did not know that Infected was playing in Norcal around that time though. I would have driven that far for infected.

haha i do remember around uhhh. 2:45. 3:00am when they ran out of water.. i was still peaking and all they had was sprite in a cup im like cool.. man. it tasted sooooo sweet.. lol. andi ended up droping that damn cup from the 2nd floor back stage.. haha. i ended up in the bathroom guzling water fromt he bathroom sink. lol..

Haha, I was there!!! My pants were muddy as shit from the dirt race track they had the main area in. Remember the fire dancer girls on stilts>>?? I think I remember them having a fucking tiger there too. Old school audio's at the orange show were the shit and after party at the masterdo....ahem....i mean the dirtydome.
