Boy, I hadn't been to a non insomniac or GoVentures party since january for connected, and I had no mind to go to one, except I was thinking, wow... these Fresh guys sure are nice, and Tech Itch... Motherfucker is BOMB. So, I Replied to the PM, and gave him my full name and got on the list.

Now, everything is all well and good at this point, and i'm even starting to get excited about this party... i'm telling people that the nightmare party is going to be underattended and WF is the place to be.

So I get to this party at like 830-9, and i'm standing in line for a good...3-3.5 hours... I finally see Robin and Tim trying to do crowd control and I talked to Robin on the street, he assured me I was on the list, and tried to explain to me why the fuck i've been standing in line so long. So he and Tim go back to fix the crowd control, and I continue to wait.

Now, about 30 mins later, it's 12 something... and i'm still standing in a fucking line... and finally, I see a promoter walking by and telling people to get orderly or something, so I scream "HURRY IT THE FUCK UP"... and he goes "WHO SAID THAT?" "HOW COME PEOPLE ALWAYS SAY SHIT AND NEVER BACK IT UP" so, I raised my hand and he pulled me aside and told me not to be such a dick, and let me and my plus +1 go up to the front with him. I never caught that dude's name... but fucking thank god for you sir... you probably were the only reason I even got in.

So I go up to where i'm supposed to get my guestlist tickets, and all my other friends who I drove there and purchased tickets, were already in... some fucking dumb bitch named "Angel" or "Amber" or something... Some hag who was a good 10 older than me with a walkie talkie and a snark attitude saying shit to all the guestlist people like 'Well the fire marshall is over there, you can go to pay him off yourself if you want to" or "Tim's just right there, go talk to him and the fire marshall"... I was talking to some people from grooveriders who weren't let in and they were pretty upset with it as i was... and we were just sitting there talking shit on "Angel" or w/e for a good 30 minutes... finally she comes back and starts telling people "we're done with guestlist, we're at capacity, only ticketholders and artists"... so, i'm starting to think i'm fucked here. I ofcourse am not a douche and am going to go around yelling "i'm laser from ravelinks damnit"... so i was just like "name's kyle, please give me my tickets"... then I talked to tim, who was absolutely no help... he just gimped right past me and basically told me to fuck off.

Then my friends were talking to me from inside the party... on the other side of the gate... they were ready to take off...but i told them to just stay inside the party and i'd go wait in the car for the rest of the 4 or so hours... So i'm walking back to the car... and I feel someone jump on my back... it's my friend erika, she didn't know I went to raves and she just started at monster this year... and she's mad pissed about standing in line for 4 hours...so she just gives me her ticket, and i told her i'd let her come with me as my +1 to TAO.

I finally get in, watch the final 15 minutes of concord dawn (Not Bad, Not Bad). Then thankfully, i got to see some phat tech step thrown down by mr. technical itch, such a phat fucking set... too bad people were kinda killing it with the MCing, but fuck it... shit went down UNTIL the moment fat fuck pat got on the decks. When the Fag Pat and Blowny C jump up raver power hour started I Got the fuck out, and went and met up with random people there.

I met up with Crayola who was as dissatisfied with the whole experience as I was and she drove all the way from SD and has a friend who's first party it was... and they're both like blahhhhhhh... seems they got there even before me, and waited in line for like 4 hours and some change... didn't get in till atleast 1 or 2.

I mean, as far as small parties go, the inside production was good... i'd say the sound was on point, especially in D&B. and they had alot of lasers, and a teensy bit of props... including set times on stage (albeit not the right ones). It was decent, but nothing spectacular.

IMO, Fresh needs to be restaffed or something... or maybe just SHITPLODED... they've got a few good heads, such as;

• Robin; though i feel fucked, you held up and my name was on there... i'm sure you work hard... maybe you can move up and get with a solid crew.
• Big Smoke T.: Because he's fucking smoke
• Guy from the line: Damn dude, that was way legit... 1000 thank yous and shit... if not for you, I would have missed tech itch.

So... To summarize this all up for you non-readers;
Stage Production: 7/10
Talent: 7/10
Sound: 8/10 (drum and bass was like a 9/10, house like a 7/10)
Staff: 0/10

Overall: 5/10

Well, thanks for wasting my time Fresh Ent. I'm really glad you guys take something that could have been ridiculously fun and turn it into a 5/10...

And even if you guys don't get all retarded like "Oh well, you got in anyways, so fuck you" and try to offer me admission to your next event or whatever... fuck it... I DONT WANT IT.

Anytime my crew tells me or anyone else (Like my homies from Grooveriders) they're on the list... WERE VIP, AND THEY MAKE SURE WE GET IN THE PARTY.



oh yeah... lastly, I forgot to mention that I stayed almost completely sober throughout this experience (except my medication) and that probably made it (especially the line part) 1000000000x worse.

and... that fat bitch Angel should probably go die now.

Not that you guys care, but thinking bout boycotting Fresh Ent on 4Raverz. If you did the same we might be getting somewhere with the crews that think they can throw shows with $65 at the door and piece of shit staff.

Was it really that much at the door?

And if that is true, Fresh isn't the only crew that charges a ridiculous amount for their parties. I feel like with Fresh, atleast you can see what you are paying for.. the production/lighting/sound/decoration is usually good

we didnt get in until 2 40 like the rest of the line.
we had been there since a lil before 8.
