all around SICK party. no complaints except they could have put another 500 people in that venue, and a lineup list with times would have been cool.

me and bowser spent like an hour trying to find someone with a piece, and i left to go get some girls to blaze and by the time i get back bowser was getting chewed out by the fire marshal hahah they made him throw the piece away and almost kicked him out but i convinced him to let him stay.

didnt really meet many RLrs, just whoever i happened to bump into.

sorry to that girl who thought i was trying to rip off. i realized that ya, there was fucking acid in that foil and YOU dropped it on the ground DUMB BITCH!!!!

hmmmm..... my brain feels kinda mushy right now.
i love all of you so very very much.
in my brain i still see all of you, with me there.
in my brain i'm still dancing to dj Irenes set.
in my brain i'm still spining my blue ice cubes, man those saved my life.
in my brain i'm still standing by stonhendge having deep conversations with anto.
in my brain noir is still giving me a light show.
in my brain apollo is still handing me a water through the hallucinations.
in my brain i still smell her pecculi every where.

theres not much left in my brain, but the things that made it will stay with me forever.

god, i love you all so much.

Meh...since my review thread is already second-paged I'll post it here too!

More of a mini review really since I left relatively early do to the fact that I had to get up at at 8 to go to work today (working hard, can't you tell?).

Anyways I will quickly dispense with the bad because there wasn't much bad about that party. For one: seemed like an excessive amount of P-Tots. Two: water was a TAD expensive which normally wouldn't even be a big deal still but I couldn't find any fountains. Three: I couldn't find set lists for the life of me. Four: The parking was a little meh and there was no way in HELL I was gonna use that 15 dollar parking - good try though in making it seem like that was the only option.

Ok so the good...the venue!! My god the venue!!! In my eight years of raving that had to be one of, if not THE best venue I've been to besides the Bill Graham Civic Center in SF. Lemme put it to you this way...if it weren't for working today I probably would have done some drugs last night and I haven't rolled in three or four years (only rolling twice a year max for two years before that). The venue was THAT good. Great combination of indoor / outdoor warehouse style, it was almost like a fun block party style venue. Must have been great to have been a cigarette smoker last night! All of the rooms were unique and it was almost like a little adventure to find them all when you get there. One was tucked away in that little alley, the Hardcore room was tucked behind the main stage, ect. Each one had it's own unique lighting which was done VERY well. I could go on and on about that venue...let's just say it was good.

I'll let other people cover the music considering that I spent the bulk of my time in the Hardcore room plus I left a little early so I prolly missed some good acts. I really came to see Mindcontroller and my old skool home girl Irene. Mindcontroller was actually a tad disappointing (he was using too many un-clever, modern pop re-makes IMO) but was MORE then made up for by Duponts (and that other guy's set). Brilliant use of old school Hardcore...got to hear a lot of great records that I know / own for the first time on a great system. Oh yea...Irene fucking rocked!! Which sucked because that was the SAME time that the Hardcore room was at the peak of cracking so I kept having to literally run between the two rooms (hence why I lost you, Rogue). Other then that I don't even KNOW who I saw (no set lists) so I won't review anyone else.

Vibe-wise the party was pretty damn good. Lot's of kiddies, yes, but everyone seemed nice and relatively together. I only saw one dude throw up and he at least had the decency to take it to the bathroom area. Saw one other fucked up chick lying on a table and that's about it. Met a lot of nice, random people and BRIEFLY met a couple of RL'ers (you know who you are). It took work to meet the RL'ers too because I basically had to approach people I THOUGHT I recognized and I was wrong a couple of times...awkward. It was worth it though to at the very least put a couple of faces to the text. Would have been cool to chill and wax poetic with a couple of you but, then again, seeing as though it is REALLY hard to pull myself from the floor, I'm not much of a social raver anyways.

All in all I was REALLY glad I got to attend that party, even for a little while. You go to bullshit party after bullshit party but when you get to experience a party like that...it makes it all worth it.

the second a DJ added some "heist-ish" hip hop or whatnot, the crowd stopped bumpin and kind of simmered down. DJs need to learn how to play a fukin crowd
