Download Beyond the Infinite by Juno Reactor... this is probably my favorite trance album BY FAR.
As for more mainstream stuff... BT does some pretty good trance. DnB = Drum & Bass, it's a genre of music that focus on drums and bass (hence the name). It can be some very intense shit if the DJ knows what they're doing. |

Has more mixes in more genres than you can fit on your hard drive. Funny thing, my rave name is Krish, short for Krishna, my middle name also means Krishna Last edited by seanscar; 2.5.2008 at 1:14 am.. Reason: automerged doublepost |

There really is too many artist to list. I know a lot of really bad ass artist, too many to list really.
I have found that some of the artist listed on this page have some really good trance, as well as the people listed in the artist top friends. This should be a good start for you. [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] |

Okay, first step is to ween yourself of the pop-trance that many find themselves in the comfort zone. I mean, not all of it's bad, but it's not innovative nor very original. Next step is dislodge yourself of the idea that "if it's popular, it's good". Sure artists like Above & Beyond and Infected Mushroom pack arenas, but that isn't a qualifier of being anything spectacular. Next, remember that the "trance" name alone should incite some inner feelings of movement and enlightenment. If it doesn't do that for you, then it isn't entrancing and therefore not "trance" worthy.
As for artists, well... Juno Reactor is a good start. Milithor, who's shameless plug does relish some valor, indeed works with a company who does management for some decent trance acts. On that list is Astral Projection. A good choice to experiment some good trance. Labels like Dragonfly, BonzaiWorx, Pharmacy, and the likes put out some decent stuff from killer "almost" mainstream artists. Artists like Overhuman Project, Pandemonium, Astrix, Quadra, and (of course) Simon Posford create stunning examples of trance that is "good". |

Actually, I do not work for that company have not for some time. I don't even work with Astral Projection. I started up my own thing, who I do have on my roster is Virbasphere, Peter DiStefano, Arthur Schmidt, Mike Mikhjian, Emzy Collins, Si Fu (from 303 infinity), IRok. All people who I am actually fans of and not just management for. MMM Juno reactor. I remember that from mortal kombat days. Juno Reactor is some good stuff though. |
