Glow festival phto's and vids

The crowds were fine if you went at a decent time (before 12 or after like 3)

Maaan...my friend and I were all excited about going to this, we headed over to Santa Monica as soon as we got out of the Dark Knight...neither of us was 100% sure on what Glow was going to be like, but we knew it would be interesting to say the least...
We waded through moderate traffic on the 10, nothing too bad for a saturday...once we got off the freeway, however....oh my jeebus...

We were stuck in some NASTY TRAFFIC for close to an hour near the pier, trying to find a place to park...all the garages we saw had 20$ parking or were full...

This was around 8 o clock too....and it was PACKED.

You have no idea how sad this thread is making me.

Aww sorry Trooper. It sounds like you came from the North side of the pier, where most of the "attractions" were and therefore a lot of closed off streets and horrible traffic.

My friend kept insisting we go closer to the pier and park but I told her it would be fine if we walked half a mile along the beach. Parking was only $7 and a nice relaxing walk to the event.
