.. and you will win against evil highway patrolmen that accuse you of speeding.

Just went to court for my speeding ticket. Officer showed up, i was present; we both presented out cases, and i won.

Goes to show you that if you stand up for what you believe in (speeding,) you havea chance at winning, whereas if you just let the system put you down, youve got nothing.

One ticket down, one more to go.

Who wants to make the "no-drinking-on-the-beach" fight a class action lawsuit against the state? This is OUR state after all, we should make the rules, not some stupid endangered bird that doesnt know any better than getting itself caught up in some trash some idiot left carelessly.

Punish the trash-makers, not the fun-havers.

i don't get why its illegal to drink anywhere, not like there is second hand drinking that kills anyone... of course you got your angry drunks, but we aren't all angry, why should we get punished for someone else's doing?

once i was with a few friends heading to a park to smoke, and a cop got behind us after we pulled out a liquor store to get a blunt.
after i pulled out he was turning the conner and got behind me. well i seen him before i pulled out the store and just drove normal. i was in the lane to the left of him and he got in my lane. well i drove the normal speed and a few seconds later he through his lights on.

to make a long story short they charged me for speeding. i took it to court and they said i was speeding 65 mph haha. well i said that was bs and that why would i speed in front of a cop when i seen him turning the conner. then i cought the cop in a lie. he said he was very familyer with the area so i asked him was there a liquor store where we were at and he said he didnt know.
so i said you should know if your familyer with the area.
they droped the case.

(then i got jailed for puting my fist in the air and telling the people in the court who were settling there cases "you gotta getem". they let me go cause my moms was there begging the court to let me go. fuckin burbank)

one more thing, they dont let us drink cause people leave glass and cans,boxs on the beach. i hear they are more leaniant if you have your alcohol in a plastic container.

Good for you! A while back I hired a guy that calls himself "Mr. Ticket" in San Diego to try to get my 15mph over speeding ticket dismissed, but apparently the guy did nothing for me (I didn't go to the court date because they said I didn't have to), because the court papers said that he PLEAD GUILTY

So yeah, the fucker took my money and ran.

So yeah, San Diegans, fuck Mr. Ticket!

Next time I'll just request off work and do that shit myself. I'm too lazy to look it up now, but there are websites that help you put your case together. Additionally, there is a possibility of doing trial by paper, which works out in your favor, because we all know how much cops hate paperwork :P

My argument was that for the minimal time he was following me, he couldnt get an accurate reading of my speed since i noticed him coming up and pulled to the side of the road.

Also - i put to question his ability to calculate speed based on question with simple math.

I also challenged him in his memory of the event months ago; time of day, description of my car, etc. I said that if he couldnt remember such information, other information he had was invalid.

Yes; ive heard of 'trail by paper' too, apparently it's like getting two attempts at a case, so if that fails, you get the personal appearance.
