I could go on and on with the names these fgts give to the electro house genre.

What's the difference between, oh, say, synthpop and electrocrass? One extra bass kick each bar? You have got to be shitting me.

You know there's something wrong with the fanbase of the music you're listening to when you have more names for it than actual musicians in that genre.

I can understand huge differences in the music like, let's say, minimal techno and schranz, but when you're just trying to hog all the credit by giving your music a different name, then ur a fagget.

electroclash is undoubtedly the best genre of edm there is.

unfortunately for your arguement, the differences in names are only about things like region where the music is from... such as daft punk, justice, dj mehdi being from france... they fall into the genre of 'filter-house'.

although there are artists from the USA making stuff that sounds suspiciously like 'filter-house', it's probably going to be called 'glitch-house' or 'electroclash'.

now you also have stuff like ladytron, which is almost correct to what nate said... ladytron and cat power and crap like that is called "nu synth pop"

POP, because it's a hell of a lot poppier then something like say... justice.

and as for dance punk, dance punk differs from other things because it doesn't really use HOUSE as an influence... dance punk is just like rock and roll with some electroclash undertones... usually played live by like a full band. i.e; the faint, lcd soundsystem
good stuff, but has no place in raves!

all i can say is that all this shit started from 1 genre... house.

house spawned electroclash.

now think of house and electroclash as rednecks in this situation... and after house birthed electroclash... she sexed him up way too many times and they had a bunch of slightly different incestual babies.

daft punk is OBVIOUSLY a lot more house then electroclash.
whereas JUSTICE could barely be considered house, as it's got much more of that banging synthed-out electro sound.

i obviously prefer the justice/electroclash-heavy types.

Oh you.

But yeah, that's really only about 2 or 3 genres. And yes, maybe you are right.

Either way, the streets will run red with scenefag blood.

I like all those styles of music. Maybe they are all the same, and that is why.

Maybe it has to do with the you know whos, the ones who did WTC.
