It's simple economics really. People will pay that much money for it. Until they stop, prices will rise alongside inflation. $65 dollars for How Sweet should of told you that already.
Insomniac has Southern California locked by the balls. Top DJs, great lighting, great turn-out every time. So they'll profit off of it because they can. Just the way it is. |

It is a bit out of control but it can definatly be worth it. Went VIP for monster massive and the free water alone as well as the hella short line made it worth it. I found my self giving out my water bottles to fellow partiers in need, just because I could go grab another bottle in a super short line. With EDC being all day long, I think the trade is well worth the cost of the ticket.

It's all about the music! Pay the $50 for General Admission and you get to hear the same amazing music they get to hear but for $100 less! But then you got to spend $3 per water (rolling?) all day but that still doesn't add up to the $100, unless you plan on drinking too much water and getting hyponatremia. I was planning on getting VIP for Electric Daisy Carnival this year but I thought they would be no more than $100 on the day tickets went on sale but...$150? Sorry, no thanks. So I just bought my General Admission ticket today! Woot!

The full list of perks is......
Info: The VIP Ticket includes: • Separate Entrance into the festival VIP Package that will feature a VIP area that will provide for a night you won't forget! EDC VIP Experience is an event in itself. As well as the amazing lineup of artists performing, VIP's will have an unobstructed view of proceedings from an elevated VIP area, access to private stage side locations & private bar. The VIP Ticket includes: • Separate Entrance into the festival • Complimentary refreshments • Hosted/open Vodka & beer bar for 21+ • Free snacks • Special viewing deck for Main stage • Special restroom facilities • Private decorated VIP area • Ticket for EDC Festival This is from Insomniacs website. With Presale already at $50. And the Rave being 12 hours, The carnival attractions, wandering performers, on top of the DJ line up. I think $150, While expensive, Isn't ludicris. Just my Humble opinion. Sportze ![]() |

I don't know about you but last year, looking into the VIP overlook atop of the coliseum, I thought that was pretty damn nice.

it all depends on what kind of a partier you are.
i think drinking alcohol at raves/day festivals is pretty stupid if you want to dance and meet people that you hope to connect with. but for some people they like it. and those glasses of grey goose vodka do add up. wasn't TAO VIP only like 85 at the beginning? shits rising fast...cause people are buying. i'll stick to buying general admission this year. |
