He's been trying to incorporate other music genres into his sets. He's experimenting - like Infected Mushroom except he's not a total fucking sellout. I wouldn't worry about his set at Nocturnal... it was more of a concert, so the transitions aren't really that important. I really don't think he was trying either.


Anyhoo, I've yet to see the guy do a legit DJ set so I'll keep my hopes high and mighty.

I prefer the music that came from Benassi Bros. rather than just Benassi himself.I guess Insomniac just took the flier from Nocturnal and ran it through the press on top of the EDC Flier.[Similar line up for headliners] Ho well what are you gonna do anyone's bound to learn the lineups stay incredibly similar massive to massive.

I really don't understand all the animosity thats constantly directed at PvD on these types of message board sites.

Appreciate his sutbtleties. Hes a master at making sure his sound is crisp and loud and has perfect balance; something very few DJ's can pull off as well as him.

Second, his set at Nocturnal was called 'Live' for a reason; hes not emphasizing easy beat-matching of 135+ BPM stuff.

Finally, you hate on him with much talk of a being a 'sell-out.' Why? Because he doesnt play that right from the start revealing banger shit? Because hes evolving as an artist and is TRYING not to just cater to all the un-intelligent ears out there?

Before you make impressions of him being a sell out, listen to him closely and try to recognize what so many others see in him.
