Fuck that shit. It's about BOTH. 50% music, 50% drugs. Anyone who says otherwise is either stupid or ignorant. Even if you don't go for the drugs, or don't do drugs, you still better fuckin' realize the important role they play in our beloved rave scene. If you are trying to get drugs outta the scene then you are trying to kill it, and need to gtfo.

I don't give a shit if you do drugs or not when you rave. But you better not say that the rave scene is only about the music.

All right, just needed to get that outta my system. I have to go on this rant every couple weeks, or else I my head might explode, that happens to me sometimes. PLUR bitchez.

I also got into the music before i even knew what the fuck "ROLLIN" was. But just like a lot of people do I got caught up with the drugs too once i took my first one at a rave and then i was hooked on both.

I totally agree with you there's a mind and soul kinda thing and e combined with at the rave music makes it so intense, and if anyone had that experience can never think the same as if it's just about the music

This is a bit off topic from the last couple of posts, but for me I think raves are about escaping. At my first rave, Monster Massive, I rolled for the first time also. I just remember being so happy, because I didn't have to think about all the bullshit that sets people apart normally in life. Everyone is able to let go off all their fears and problems even if it's only 12 hours or whatever. People that normally would never speak to eachother instantly become friends. Since then I have started to love both X and techno, but still raves for me are about more than just those two things. Raves are more about the feeling that I get when I am surrounded by friendly strangers dancing. ummmm yeahhh I'm rambling...but those are just some thoughts I have.
