hahahaha was that your epic fail del taco run bshieh? when i was 12 kroq played outkast and i remember calling the radio station and being like "excuse me, if this is k'roq' how come you guys are playing hip hop?"
the guy was like "hahah aww alright, what's your name?"
"anna"
"okay anna, how old are you?"
"13." (i lied cause i was shy about actually being 12 hahaha)
"hahah well anna, it's best to stay open minded about music. we like to play a lot of different kinds of stuff."

and since then my views on music have never been the same! thank you anonymous kroq phone call screener

HOLY SHIT god's bathroom floor is like my favorite thing ever by slug, so damn impressive.
caught in a hustle is i'm pretty sure my faaavorite immortal tune.
j dilla!
dirty girl by felt is DOPE!
shapeshifters, aceyalone, the entire living legends crew and almost all of their solo shit, puts, old 2mex, all that LA underground stuff is soooo off the hook. it surprises me how some of these guys haves managed not to "sell out" over the years.
yo KID...
Qwel is dope.. and the THC song is ill! I seen his albino ass twice in pasadena... he rocked it with 2mex. All of qwels g4 crew is dope... like that one foo Mestizo, he gots skill! God's Bathroom floor by slugo is insanely good!... i remember he did that as his "1 more song, 1 more song" song at the glass house a few years ago... i never felt such euphoria from live music before, that moment was indescribable... hearing your favorite song being played last after the fool jams and comes back out for the one last song 5 minutes later... it was priceless!

Gangstarr's good for me, and so is A Tribe Called Quest.

i also love this song:

Lo-Down- Mad Fright Night

it's from the Kids Original Soundtrack and it is quite possibly the illest hip hop track I've ever heard in my life.
