ewwwwwwwwwwwwww! those songs are sooooo cheesy. thats like...the clownstep of the psy world right there

the only artist that i think has been able to pull off using rock guitars (not acoustic guitars) is talamasca in the song 'aries', but even that is iffy. i bet you like skazi too dont you! haha =P

nah i hate skazi

And its only cause i loooove classic rock. im mostly talking 'about' the classic or modern rock remixes into psy. I heard a harrrd ass tool song riff that was perfectly put into some hard psy and it wasnt cheesy at all, was so sick.

I'm ALL for genre fusion. I would probably listen to Gangster rap inside of Psy if it was done right

I LOVE Genre Fusion, a lot of it doesn't work (puff daddy's entire catalog), but if done correctly it's amazing, and it's helped me appreciate more genre's of music.

Cypress Hill fused Rock and Hip Hop to a point that I learned to appreciate Hip Hop. From there making the move to Gangsta Rap was easy. I am a HUGE Punk head, and countless Punk bands fused in Ska, turning me into a big time Ska fan.

I know I'm going to get shit for this, but the first electronic music I ever really enjoyed was Infected Mushroom. Saw them at MM07 and loved them. That one experience opened me up to EDM as a genre, and as I progressed as an Infected Mushroom fan and discovered their older music the transition to so many other EDM sub-genres (including Psy) was complete.

I'm still new to EDM as a whole (< year) and my tastes preferences change monthly. It's awesome.

i'm not a fan of most guitar infused psy that i've heard, some of it is cool, but the majority i felt was a flavor of cheese that i'm not diggin'

acid for nothing is a prime example, lol...sorry psilo!

gangster rap psy, maybe it'd work out alright, they generally had awesome breaks in o.g. gangster rap....i loooove the old gabber with gangster rap samples

it may be clichè, but they do synergize rather eloquently ^_^

when i shroom, i usually get in the mood for ambient music. to each their own I think it's because cid wakes me up, whereas shrooms sometimes give me the yawns. HOWEVER, sometimes shrooms just make me go so insane on the dancefloor i can't stop dancing to psybreaks and psytrance for HOURS.

i HATE fusion. when i was at monster massive 06, the house room was pissing me off cuz they kept playing rock songs i like all slowed down to fit a house beat. coming from being a big time rock fan/metalhead, i gotta go with the originals 100% of the time. when i first heart acid for nothing i wanted to puke. i hadnt heard that cd by 1200 mics yet so up to that point i loved them...yea that cd made me stop listening to them as much i mean come on...rock into the future?
