Hmm, didnt know choppers flew low enough to actually shine a flashlight on. Ill keep in mind cops around here carry assault rifles as standard issue. Usually it's a sheriff with a warrant.

that was my first attempt for a desert rave and i think it'll be my last one.
though i MIGHT give it 1 last try, and i'll be sure to make a fine choice on it.

depending on where it was in lancaster, it could have been on the military base. one time, this other rave at one of AVR's house got rolled, and when leaving my friends got pulled over by military guys haha... scary shit.

okay that is true though, I may agree, it was scary as fuck to see some m16 rifles by officers..

in fact, sometime tomorrow at school-- using a pay phone going to call and ask them why they had the guns with them and get the real reason to find out why.

as far as, the promoters, who threw it, I really don't know their crew name is..

but gotta admit, the party was bumpin for those who went.

i just feel bad for those people who wanted to camp out and such..

the fire poi was amazing!! omg, just sweet, I only managed to snag about 10 or less good photos of that

anyway..

this was my 1st Desert party in years..

I didn't even make it to the rave. We ran out of gas along with some other people, but i admit I had fun being out in the desert with a very crazy driver. Next time i'll be at the rave fuckin early. Next time, lol.

LOL at this attempt at a rave.
so i left around 9pm from the 760 got to 170th around 10somethin then got lost on dirt roads with bout 20 other cars ..but i was expecting to...it was funny talkin to all the ppl that got stuck and shit on the way there.. so many ppl from LA and the valley driving like audis and shit on these trashed skinny quad roads thinking or expecting rather that "there is no way im goin to get stuck or get lost in the middle of the antelope valley desert " rofl@noobs.. anyway i get there and i was leading all the cars that got lost to the right direction so i had abuncha ppl behind me and its about midnight...we pull up infront of the lot that had nothing but a tiny little fence around it and we get pulled outa the car by some little chick with a flashlight and some small skinny ass dude and they say " we need to search ur car for weapons" im like.. ok np... i got a pretty big knife in the glovebox just so u know.. there like ok.. we found it its ours now.. im like.. great.... 250$ knife... gone..but whatev i didnt care to much at the time i was just ready to relax and party alil...so we drive into this lot and try to park and there was absolutely no organized parking at all it was just abuncha ppl blocking each other in and shit which is fine but when the cops showd up it started to get pretty funny seeing everyone get their side mirrors ripped off and there cars bumped into and shit haha....so we finally all get otta the cars and shit and we were already pretty fucked up and we headed over to the main area ..on the way there was kids dropin lucy, nos, coke, and everything else in the middle of the dance floor which was pretty dope because they were pretty much standing right next to the dj's and shit ... so we get over to the main area and all the drunk ass hoez i brought with me all wanted me to go get them some thiz ... so im like.. uhg fine .. i get there money find a good dealer and start negotiating .. because i had to buy so many for all my friends i had like wads of cash on me and im counting it in the middle of the dance floor tryin to get out what i need and it was all in like 20's and 10's when me and the dealer get a fuckin bright ass spotlight right on us for like the whole transaction ... which took like 10m because he had to sell me like 20thiz .. and we didnt even notice what was goin on untill we bolth lifted our heads up.. haha me and the dealer bolth had mag lights so we were shining that shit on what we were doing and didnt even notice there is a giant helicopter with its spotlight on us telling us to drop what we have in our hands and dont move.. haha i lol'd and as soon as i got what i needed took off my jacket and hat and ran to my car past bout 10-15 cops with ak's ... so as we were tryin to get out the parking situation was so fucked that everyone was just like fuck it and for bout 20m's after the rave was busted everyone just opend all there doors and windows and blasted there music and started dancin outside there cars... heh it was purdy funny seein cops just like laughing at all these fucked up kids half of which are gunna get in car accidents on the 30m drive thru the desert on the way back... because they busted the rave 'right' at the time when everyone gets fucked up hardcore.. (usually bout 1-3am) ..

so ya.. i was there for a hour... drove for 4 hrs and didnt get to do shit but buy thiz for all my friends...
from what i could tell the music was aight...
the ppl were pretty gay .. mostly non ravers there.. the whole rave would have been chill because there were so many drugs and no security whatsoever just a lil chick in a orange vest and a couple dudes with shotguns....but it got busted right when everyone got there ..

so nice try at a desert rave.. but leave it to the pro's in mexico
or at least do it in a better location next time

i give this rave a 3 out of 10
