Posers (YES POSERS) used to annoy the shit out of me. Why? Well, first off the DONT like the music, what so ever, they need to be on drugs to even tolerate it, other wise its rap and hip hop all the way! And eventually now, everyone i know, and there stupid friends rave, simply because its trendy and they're just followers, seriously back when i started in 0'6 i listened to trance a year before i even wanted to attend a rave, and not to brag or make myself seem better ,but i just hate how this all turned out, its NOT cool anymore, its just cliche and mainstream, just a bunch a fucking posers of all walks of life. So basically ive just learned to brush it off my shoulders but it's still annoy, cant wait till its not "COOL" and "trendy" anymore.

well put. exactly why i got into it.

As a noob, I don't think I'm one of those punk ass posers, though I could be wrong. Honestly, I couldn't name one artist other then Paul Van Dyk. All I know is I love the friendly atmosphere and how when you're on e the music flows through your body and forces you to move. then I feel so relax and nothing in the world matters but matching my body movements to the beat of the music. My point is not everyone new to the scene is doing it to be cool, although I agree many are, and that is why i understand some of the animosity the senior members throw at the noobs.

10 years ago there were less rules, which also meant more drugs and ODs. I've seen less deaths and shit TODAY. I miss the old days but promoters and security don't. People actually handle their shit better now. Used to be fliers advertising which drugs would be there and shit. But EDC and Noc used to have hip-hop and hardcore. They love the noobs which have no problem paying $65 for a party, just like when I was told by the older heads I was being ripped off paying $25 for a massive.
