(klover you wouldve loved it because it felt like a renegade party)

so they didnt have anthera xphactor and discord playing. therefor it wasnt worth 15 dollars? people pay 50-60 for WAY less production at these shitty hudson parties and dont even bat an eye, and your bitching about a measly 15 and close to home lol.

-the party didnt get shut down because smart people threw it
-they delivered a beautiful production with a real rave feel to it and not some prepackaged rave feeling like the majority of raves thrown in the last year.
-they offered their party goers various snacks and treated them kindly
-they did offer cheap 5 dollar entry which you missed cuz you didnt follow the directions apparantly

i loved the venue. the cave feel was fucking awesome and a great escape for the night. the wall of laser over the dance floor was sick as fuck and i almost wish i had been on some hallucinogens or something to enjoy it even more. the alki was good (not some vons brand bullshit. they actually had crown royal!), and the vibes were great. i actually met some cool people for once, which was a nice change of pace from the usual idiots yelling IM ROLLING SO MANY BALLS WHAT SUBSTANCE ARE YOU ON in my face.

all in all a good night...o and the chocolate covered strawberrys were a nice touch to end the night!

All I know is that If I was throwing a party and A group came up to me and offered all the money they had after knowing what shit they just went through to get to my sketchy ass venue in a sketch ass part of the city, I would have game them a break knowing that they will be there next time .
I know what kind of party was thrown, it isn't hard to imagine. It's just another underground rave as always.
I'm sure there was good music and lighting But I could find just as good as party as this one was that wasn't fifteen fuckin bucks. Fifteen bucks is a lot for a college student who goe's to parties every fucking weekend.It;s not like I live down the street.

I probably would not have complained honestly if they just said sorry we can't do it, But they had an attitude the sec we walked up there. You know the kind where they think they are all hot shit for working tickets at a fucking rave.ha

i had a blast. the good atmosphere and people

the lights kicked ass. there was a ceiling of smoke, it looked like we had our own little sky. hard to explain but it was a trip.
also the food was gooood. this chick handed out chocolate covered strawberries haha

yeah, i don't care about what it looks like, i liked the grunge. the music and people were what made it for me

hahah your friend sounds like a spoiled hudson raver. before the hudson was discovered we partied in shitholes around LA. i mean honostly who wants to party in a nice venue. thats what clubs are for. sounds like you got screwed.

i know some ravers that pulled something like that over a green sector party. it was held on the secondfloor/rooftop of this big building in downtown la and they pulled up to the front, looked at the entrance to the wrong party(the party next door) and decided it looked 'shady'....yes shady ol green sector, so they drove all the way to the hudson for whatever prepackaged rave in a box party was that night instead........epic fail.

what are all these so called warehouse parties your talking about lol. you keep saying 'undergrounds' like theyre events that just happen all the time. if you were really an underground partier you prob wouldnt be posting on ravelinks, a mainstream website. also i am well aware of the actual 'undergrounds' that do go on, and they usually charge 15-25 for the night to cover their costs since their attendance numbers arnt usually high. this goes for underground house parties as well (which pretty much make up all the undergrounds aside from the psy ones)

I had a bomb ass time at Crush!!!!!!!!!!

The sound system was perfect, as showstoppa said, there was enough people to socialize yet still enough room to dance.

And dance I did! hahaha I was there until 530am..

There were free pretzels and chips to munch on and dude, they handed out chocolate covered strawberries at like 4am!!!! THAT WAS SO BOMB!

What topped it off for me was the DUAL LASER LIGHTS.

It's difficult to explain but I'm going to try...

These laser lights were setup so that it created lighted-horizontal-plane directly above our heads and because there was fog/smoke, the "plane" had the effect of looking like a green swirling/chaotic ceiling that you can put your fingers through! It was super trippy. Whoever was there knows what I'm talking about!

If I wasn't dancing I spent my time with tofu, naomi, notes, mickey g, chad & danny (welcome to LA chad!).

TheMessenger: I tried to get there before 11:30 to get in for $5 but I was late and paid $15. It was a bummer but seriously like... who cares man.. it's $15, it's not a big deal. You drove your ass out from thousand oaks all the way to downtown and decided not to go in? Ehhh?? What?


Oh and whoever stole my jacket, I forgive you. I really liked that jacket. But it's OK.. you enjoy it, whoever you are.

Really? Which party in Southern California on May 10th 2008 was less than $15? NAME THE PARTY. I CHALLENGE YOU.
