Hlaf of the reason why we didn't want to go in was b/c the ticketholders were fucking douchbags. Before I even asked how much it is they were douchbags right off the bat. Fuck that. You have your own opinion I was just giving my opinion because I was actually inside from 11:30 to 4 am. and IN MY OPINION this venue was WAY x10 better than the Purple loft.

Crews would charge around 15-20 dollars all night when they threw parties at the Neospot and the parties would get broken up by 3 am. Crews would charge $10-$15 at Purple loft and that shit is guaranteed shut down by 2 am.

I'm just saying, to put it in perspective, $15 for 4 hours at the Neospot= $3.75 an hour. $10 at the Purple loft that is guaranteed broken up by 2 am= $3.33 an hour.
$15 for 8 hours at this venue= $1.87 an hour.

i agree that you cant really rip a party if you didnt even get inside. and $15 really is not bad for an all night party... there are costs involved in throwing these things, ya know.

also; had a good time. the music at times was exactly the type of house that i love. at other times it was a little boring, but then again a 4am set is not as bumping as a 1am set.
the vibe was more clubby than ravey, but it was chillin'. it seemed to be mostly old school ravers, mid to late 20s. there were some pretty good dancers as well. I left around 430 and felt like i was leaving early... place had barely cleared out at all.

Thanks a lot to everybody who made it to CRUSH last night.

I'd just like to say that I've been going to afterhours for many years, and 99% of the time you get inferior sound, no lighting at all, inadequate security, tecate and premixed vodka only, and played out venues, for $20.

At CRUSH we provide bomb sound, amazing lighting with dual lasers (who does THAT?), armed security, premium bar including Belvedere and Heineken, and virgin venues, for $15. And we make chocolate covered strawberries for you.

So, Mr. Messenger, if you'd rather drive out to the Hudson and pay $60, then God bless you and have a good time. CRUSH was the cheapest party in town last night and everybody who actually ponied up the cover had a blast. If someone in your group wasn't over 18 and you couldn't get in, sorry but it's 18+ only. But if the only reason you think we're douches is because you couldn't afford to pay the cover for the cheapest party in town then maybe you should look for a better job.

The fact of the matter is I just didn't feel like I should pay $15 for this party.

Maybe I went overboard with calling them douches when really I just thought they had an attitude from the sec I walked up there prob b/c I look young and look like I have never been to a party before.They also thought we always went to crush and did this but this was our first time.

If I have payed $15 for this and every party I went to this past 7 months( 30 plus)
plus gas all the way from T.O, I wouldn't be able to go and pay annything at all. But I love these parties that I'm willing to pay full price for a shit load but not every small warehouse party I go to. Esp the shitty ones. besides, wouldn't they want the money I have in my hand instead of getting no money at all? I mean it is a fucking rave for god sakes,it's not like it is a bomb club where they don't need to haggle at all. And who said who haggles at a rave? Why wouldn't you, That shit is so unprofessional anywayz.

Don't get me wrong it is not like I go to every party and try to haggle, Only the shitty ass one's that I think Is no fucking way going to get $15-$20 dollars. It's ridiculous. for ex. $25-Hardcore elysium.

your out of your mind ROFL. first off, how can you even compare this to the loft? the loft, everyones cars get broken into and the weirdest psychos/shadiest gangsters in the world come out. plus theres no room inside whatsoever for an actual dance floor. the crews that usually use it throw horrendous parties for 20-30 dollars. not only was the neighborhood not that bad, but there were security EVERYWHERE. i saw multiple guards in a random building across the street just protecting the property as well as down the street, and then the venue security as well.

15 bucks for a party that goes till 7am with FULL PRODUCTION in a brand new REAL rave venue(that was tight as fuck btw) and not some shitty ass banquet hall that has no vibes at all in Los Angeles is a fucking steal. you DID NOT see the party, because the party was literally UNDERGROUND. it was impossible to see the party from the ticket area so your judging the whole thing on an outside smoking area. everyone that was inside was having a blast, people were actually dancing, the music was good, and they submersed the party goer in a surreal environment outside of reality. when you were inthere you felt like you were raving in a cave truely secluded from the real world. it was an amazing feeling and no rave has had that in awhile. (klover you wouldve loved it because it felt like a renegade party)

so they didnt have anthera xphactor and discord playing. therefor it wasnt worth 15 dollars? people pay 50-60 for WAY less production at these shitty hudson parties and dont even bat an eye, and your bitching about a measly 15 and close to home lol.

-the party didnt get shut down because smart people threw it
-they delivered a beautiful production with a real rave feel to it and not some prepackaged rave feeling like the majority of raves thrown in the last year.
-they offered their party goers various snacks and treated them kindly
-they did offer cheap 5 dollar entry which you missed cuz you didnt follow the directions apparantly

i loved the venue. the cave feel was fucking awesome and a great escape for the night. the wall of laser over the dance floor was sick as fuck and i almost wish i had been on some hallucinogens or something to enjoy it even more. the alki was good (not some vons brand bullshit. they actually had crown royal!), and the vibes were great. i actually met some cool people for once, which was a nice change of pace from the usual idiots yelling IM ROLLING SO MANY BALLS WHAT SUBSTANCE ARE YOU ON in my face.

all in all a good night...o and the chocolate covered strawberrys were a nice touch to end the night!
