You talking about ETDPOP? If so, tix are $65 right now online and will stay that way. It will be worth it probably considering POP has the best lineup this year out of any massive in the last 4 years anywhere in california.

Don'tGetMeWrong I love the Skills. Until I moved to So Cal I didnt miss a Skills massive in 7 years. But even 65 bucks is too much for the Cow Palace. Bill Graham yes, Cow Palace no. I don't care WHAT the lineup is, Skills should not have thrown a party there...they know better. They could have gone to the Regency or at least the Concourse...or that building by Giants stadium...ANYTHING but the Cow Palace.


BTW when the BGCA is done with renovations and Skills does another party there (hopefully by Love Parade) I encourage anybody and EVERYBODY to go to that party. Seriously...go.

Conn I know exactly what youre saying and usually Id agree.

What the problem is, is that most crews in the past have fucked up the Cow Palace for parties. Namely Coolworld. Those god damn idiots turned it into a drug fest, undercover narc piece of shit, for the time being.

But Skillz has guaranteed over and over this will be hugely decorated, private security, and a way, way better layout than parties before it.

I think for the first time the cow palace will be awesome.

my argument is the fact that Electric Daisy Carnival is 50 bucks so early into the game
first set of tickets is usually around 35, not 50 this means its going to be close to 80 by the time the even comes around, last year i bought VIP a week before Electric Daisy Carnival for 100 bucks, and this year a regular ticket a week before is probably going to be 100 bucks there is something wrong here

and yeah i perfer underground raves, i dont give a shit if EDC has amazing fucking sound and 60+ artist and i could give a flying fuck how many fucking rides they have where you have to stand in 4 hour lines just to get on, i go to see friends enjoy music and just have a good time, i dont need to spend 50 bucks for a good time id rather spend 10 have shitty sound average DJ's but a better atmosphere

I want a ferrari but I cant walk into a dealership and say "well I have bills to pay and I dont have $200,000 but you should give me that car for about the price of a civic cos thats in my price range" and when that doesnt work I can go on the ferrari forum and cry because I cant afford it and its not fair. Im a good worker and I make money.. but someone is not a loser if they don't have "$50 spare dollars lying around". That's just ignorant..

Especially if they have kids, are in debt to school loans ~$25,000 (as I was), and are working at low-paying wage jobs, regardless of HOW many they have. 8 bucks an hour does not cut it.

you put way too much sauce in the venue.

regency would not be able to hold 10,000 people too. and they need that many people to pay for the STACKED line-up that they are offering.

and skills knows how to handle venues. at ETD LOVE the second i lit a blunt on it, security was there and put it out. but at the door they didnt even frisk me. they made for a good balance, with security EVERYWHERE. and they had an EMT room. and outdoor smoking. and bathrooms with drinking fountains. shit find my post about skillz/the regency and itll let you know that they dont fuck up venues.

i have my reasons for coming on here and complaining just as you do for complaining about my post no where in my post did i say that they should sell me a ticket cheaper because i cant afford it i was simply saying they raised prices this year by about 20 bucks and i dont think its worth payin 50 bucks months before the damn event
