due to lack of grammar/spelling abilities, it was a bit difficult to get to the core message, but apparently the OP does not think the prices for tickets are out of line, she simply can't afford it.

My response is that is BS. If you want something bad enough, you can have it. 50 bones is not that much (plus another 30 or so, lets say, for a pill and some water). Don't eat out. Don't go to the bar. Don't fly way over your cell phone minutes. Rent a movie, don't go to the theater, and don't drive needlessly around at $4/gallon. Stop smoking cigarettes, cut back on weed, eat pasta and beans a couple times a week (not together, unless you're a real creative chef) Record every cent you spend for a month and realize how easy it would be to save $50 before EDC on June 28th. It aint that tough... you just gotta want it.

In response to some of the posts,

I say don't wait till last minute to go to an event. These parties are planned months in advance. You usually know about them before hand. Don't wait till the week of to tell us you don't have enough money to attend. I've seen threads on here say " I HAV NO $$ TO GO TO THIS RAVE BUT IF EVERYONE CONTRIBUTED 1$ THEN I COULD GO COME ON GUISE BE PLUR".

Fuck that. You knew the party was coming, save your money for it and buy a presale.

On the other hand, we do have a right to complain about the increasing prices for raves. Some of us can still afford the rising prices, but it doesn't mean we're happy about spending the money on it.

Take Uprise for example. The past three or four BDM party I've attended have hinted to me that there is absolutely no reason why this Uprise party would be worth fucking 30$. Are you kidding me? I paid $30 for Winterfresh, and that was pretty much a minimassive with better sound system than BDM will ever have. I love you guise from BeatDrop, but I feel a little jipped for being asked for 30$ for Uprise for first batch of presales.

Each party has progressively been getting more and more expensive. I was thinking about it, and I think it's because crews are trying to get bigger and bigger. The rave scene is exploding imo. They need to accommodate for more people showing up.


Another thing that bugs me is the people that freak out and ask for rides THE DAY OF THE EVENT.
Post a thread saying ' I HAVE NO RIDE PLZ COME PICK ME UP. OH BUT I WONT BE ONLINE SO REPLY AND I'LL COME BACK LATER TONIGHT.'
then they don't tell you where they live, a phone number, any contact information, nothing. freaking newfags. gtfo.

also this is no longer "underground" status, there is gonna be over 1,500 people there. pretty sure tickets were also a little bit under 30 dollars right before how sweet. either way, worth it in my opinion. ive spent far more on far less.
