Your question makes no fucking sense. He said it was permitted and it was. Permits were NOT the issue. Permits are not the only reason a party can get shut down.

we're not saying that some things are not our fault. i guess we shouldnt trust some partyers too much, since they damaged a lot.

really, only people who were fucked up had fun at this party? all our djs said this was one of the most amazing parties they have spun, people are emailing us right now and said that this was their best SOBER party they have been to.

yeah okay....Fresh does throw good parties but they have fucked up many times in the past, you live and learn. that's how it works. this was our first HUGE party so now we know what to expect.

Joker's attempt to make constructive criticisms on this party were lost by his inability to intelligently convey arguments. Joker you need to put a little more effort in your post, and a little less cynicism.

That's kind of false advertising. When you say "Fully Permitted Venue", that's automatically implying that this party does not run the chance of being shut down for PERMIT reasons.


I also remember you guys initially advertising three rooms. That went away.

Then I heard rumors of House room. there was no "house room". it was half-hazard scrambling of getting djs to randomly play house music in between hhc sets. i came there fully expecting hhc, but i was also fully expecting a HOUSE ROOM to escape to.


The heat upstairs, someone broke the airconditioner. shit happens

Joker can't complain about VIP if people didn't pay extra for them. A chance to shake a dj's hand.

The sound system I'm guess Bonkers is from your new workplace? cuz like... dooooood

so yeah basically the only thing i'm wondering about is this permit deal, and the 'house room'/third room deal

besides that, location of the venue was AWESOME. parking was AWESOME. the main room was AWESOME. BATHROOMS WERE SELF FLUSHING!! GREAT FOR E-TARDS!!!

ummm....we did NOT sell VIP tickets....at all. we did not sell a single VIP ticket. they were given away to STAFF and DJS and FRIENDS - there was free alcohol and water for US.

yeah, the cops that you were speaking to were definitely mistaken. some douche bag just started shit and what not. the venue owner was in the venue the entire time (old middle eastern guy). He rents these rooms all the time for conventions, conferences, barmitzvahs, rich bitch parties, etc. so he does have legal permits for them. as i said earlier, the 2nd picture on the website was from a different party thrown there, sorry for the over hyped pic. anywho, definitely parties are thrown there all the time. btw did anyone notice that URB magazine was there? filming and interviewing Winter? lol it was pretty awesome.

imo the venue was great. awesome. seriously. it was a long drive for me (about an hour and a half) but so worth it. i would go back to that venue dood. just fix the permit issues.

i dont think a third room was ever advertised, but that the second room wasnt ONLY HH...but house was being spun.

there was some great house at the beginning, but it was early and while they were setting up.

sidenote: I know you have your reasons for getting there later....but i feel like so many people just brush off getting there before midnight and expect the amazingness to be thrown in their face. is it that hard for people to get there at 8 pm? I came from san francisco, took a bus from miracle mile to hollywood, a train to north hollywood, a bus to woodley park, and then walked 2 miles carrying heavy shit and got there at 8 pm EXACTLY.

i just think events would be better if the people who can get there at the beginning....did.

of course people have their good excuses....work as an example.....but im sure a lot of people were sitting at home being lazy or only wanted to go for a specific DJ....which is their choice. IMO....you guaranteed a better night if you get there at 8, even if theres nothing there till 1 am you want to see.

30 dollar presale for 5 and a half hours of fun is better than 45 door ticket for an hour.

that venue was worth the 7 hour bus drive and all the other crap i had to deal with this weekend.
