I knew he was going to be good but god damn he fucking destroyed. His set had EVERYTHING it in it. He started with a just electronic sounds and when to this weird trippy kind of Drum n Bass sound, to this break beat, then a bit of rap, and finally with rock in there. BassNectar remixed the shit out of so many tunes we knew. Where & when is the next burner party?!?!? His sound was a complete change form this "Rave Sound" we have all heard before. bassnectar was fucking dank and dominated the entire show. he got that bass goin low low low and the nirvana remix with ztrip fucking pwned. i think that might have been one of my fav dj performances EVER.

those people on stage were all weekly attendees/loyal followers of Space Island, the burner club in lil tokyo. i dunno if you saw the art car behind the stage, but that also was by a guy who is closely associated with space island. if you went to any of their underground parties on any given weekend youll prob see alot of those people (although the police have recently shut it down and have it on watch so nothing really happens there anymore). also if youve ever seen a bassnectar performance, he usually asks the burners to mob the stage and dance while he plays. alot of the people are actually friends of his. at LIB there mustve been like 50 people on stage bumpin and grinding everywhere lol. i personally think it adds to the vibe and looks alot better then some dumb half naked rave ho doing the same 3 moves for hours

lol except for taking the bus back @ like 12 am in the middle of downtown and missing your stop by like 10 stops while frying BALLS. Than missing the bus 2 take you back and having to wait like another hour cuz the bus rns every hour after 10 pm. and talking to some blood about how I was in crip terriotory and how he had a 22 in his back pocket......ya.....lol I'm white.....ROFL so ya i left @ 12 am and got home @ almost 6am rofl
