BAMF Update

North Star here, don't post much but I thought I would today.

First and foremost on behalf of BAMF, his family (blood relatives) and friends I'd like to say thank you for keeping him in your thoughts and prayers. Now, I would like to dispel any rumors that may be floating around:

1) Did BAMF get arrested?
No, he was taken to a local hospital.

2) Did BAMF take psychedelics at Fuzzy?
No, not intentionally. After witnessing the negative effect psychedelic drugs can have on its users and those around them at a party last year BAMF has been adamantly against using them personally. Although there is always the possibility of someone slipping something into one of his beverages, we aren't for certain yet.

3) Having been in the military does BAMF have PTSD?
It is a possibility that BAMF could suffer from post traumatic stress disorder. Having served in the Marines for 4 years and being over in Iraq it can't be ruled out as a possibility. Although even if he did have it I wouldn't sare his personal information on this forum.

4) Can we contact BAMF?
At this point in time no. The best way to reach him would be to send love via his myspace or leave a msg on his cell phone (no txt) all of which he will get when he is released form the hospital.

5) When will BAMF be released from the hospital?
At the earliest Tuesday.

6) Did North Star really pass out "North Star" business cards?
Yes, why not?

Once again I say thank you to all who send positive, thoughts, prayers, vibes, etc. And a big eff you to all the haters. I'm a hater myself but come on now you hate when people are a-holes, not when they are in pain. It was great seeing a bunch of you at Fuzzy Fest, how to see you all soon.

Ive probably been Bamf's friend longer than anyone on these boards, but if you want my honest opinion:

"After witnessing the negative effect psychedelic drugs can have on its users and those around them..."

Is a terrible thing to say. Bamf is mentally/socially altered and it's obvious drugs and alcohol would have a detrimental affect on his mind state. He is not all there, as much as I like him and joke with him. Deterring other fully-developed people from experimenting with psychoactive chemicals is not too accurate or correct imo. Just my opinion though, im sure you see it differently.

I do think you misunderstood my statement. It should have stated that he is adamantly against using them personally. While he has made suggestions or comments in regards to my actions as a friend I personally attest that he by no means would try to push his personal beliefs upon me or anyone else.

Also, knowing someone for a longer period of time is not directly correlated to how well you may know them or how close of a friend you may be.

ya i was really curious what the status was with him...

i was really worried when he came up to us (me zoey and moogle) and came to zoey saying he was really scared...

and of course i knew after what happened between us all last year that he would definitely NOT be doing that again....

whomever may have dosed em.. or whatever happened... i hope that person gets what is coming for him...

i was once dosed over at edc last year with some drops of acid to my skin... if i ever find those bitches again i'll kill em.... though i had already known what to expect and how to handle it thanks to lovefest 07 (tons of acid anyone?)

i hope bamf is okay.... and northstar, text me his number.. i wanna leave him a voice.. i was really worried about him all day when i left the party... and all during work i was wondering what the hell went on as well...
