buffalo exchange and out of the closet have been around for several years.


and there are 'out of the closet's everywhere.

there are about 3 on fairfax near my house. and they all give out condoms.

they have a partnership with some aids foundation....


and "crossroads" in SF is another store in SF that is the same as out of the closet, but a little higher end.

They buy, Trade, and sell at extremely lowered prices.

pants are normally around 15-40 dollars

shirts 4-10 dollars

shoes 10-40 dollars


and these are high quality, brand name clothing and shoes.


i go to these stores not because im an indiefag or whatever lame label you're giving it, but because when im spending hundreds of dollars on other things, i dont want to be buying expensive clothing. but i also dont wanna buy clothing that will rip after 2 times out.

sidenote: i'd rather buy a 2 dollar shirt from goodwill than see the many 'DGAF' 'SKIN' and 'SPY' on a 3 dollar fruit of the loom sweatshop shirt that cost the mfg probably 3 dollars to make that they sell for 20+ in those alternative lifestyle shops.

YO! So i'm gunna throw my two cents in, mostly kuz i can, and a little bit because i'm bored @ work ATM. I've partied long term and been a part of scenes in NY, the midwest, and now cali... and the fukt up thing is kandi kids are EVERYWHERE and they get no respect! W/o them the parties wouldn't be have as fun, the vibe would just be broken and you wouldn't have someone to bum a smoke off of (kuz they are always prepared for some reason!)

i would too...but they tend to last only a couple outings.

especially when i bike a ton, go to the beach...lot of wear and tear for cheapo clothing..


thats why crossroads is my new fave...teeny bit more pricey but better quality.
