The thing is if he was trying to play it off as a joke, if he had posted it under his real name everyone would have thought it was a joke. I am pretty sure he knows that to. The fact that he is hiding behind and atl name implies that he was pretty serious about the post. It cause more problems than he realized as well. Some people are even thinking he is associated with Fresh now. This person seriously need to think before he things or does things, which he pretty much never does.

It's been a style in the rave culture for many many years.
There is no one style which is better than another. And in the rave scene...there is not one style of person who actively uses drugs more...although candy ravers get blamed for that.

i don't even dislike them, i just think they look dumb and usually more times than not, act dumb.

i'm always neutral on pretty much any subject... i think that kandi kids aren't usually the most fucked up kids at parties... but of course you have asshole kandi kids coming on the forums saying "the most fucked up person at a party is NEVER a kandi kid"... that's just fucking dumb.

ROFL. I actually wasted time reading this whole thread. I think people have forgotten that the "Rave Scene" is all about the music! Combine it with "PLUR" and dancing and there you go. Everyone has a good time and takes care of each other. I'm not going to deny that there is drug use.... But I would say 90% of the scene does them. Candy kids don't do any more than people in the dancer crews and such.

Me personally, I'm NOT a candy kid. I have nothing against them. I think they look a little funny at times, but whatever. They're having a good time and I'm happy for them. Most of them are really nice people and fun to talk to on my smoke breaks... Unfortunately there is the stereotype where people think that the Candy Kids are the ones that do the most drugs and have them so I try not to associate with them so I don't get any unwanted attention. But that's just covering my own ass and not getting in trouble with security.

The people I hate at parties are the ones that sit in the middle of the dance floor, walk through the circles when people are dancing, or just walk right next to you while you're dancing and have no respect. Oh... And I also hate people who talk crap about people at the parties on the boards for no reason. This topic in my opinion was uncalled for.

You don't need to appologize for anything. I'm not a candy raver myself so you never attacked my personal style of choice. And i'm not trying to change anyone's mind. All I wanna know is why the hate? Why don't ppl just keep their negative opinions to themself. It just looks bad on alot of things because of it.
