anyone playing GTA 4?

i just havent gotten the chance to play it really.

what are you thoughts on the game?

on the last mission.

the game was fun, but got extremely boring. imo the missions became too long drawn out and the chase missions where you cant kill the guys but have to follow them forever with dumbass random cars that hit you on purpose get fucking stupid fast.

too frustrated to even do the last mission. its long and stupid. i think i chose the wrong path arg.

make sure you know how to use every type of vehicle by the end of the game is all i can tell you

oh, also the a few bugs in the game were annoying.

by far the worst part of the game involves sound

1) the music gets really annoying really fast.
2) the cut scenes volume is way too low relative to the rest of the game
3) the random phone calls are impossible to hear on a shitty non 5.1 surround system
4) the other car sounds (honking) do not get quieter when youre on the phone which is maddening when trying to listen.
5) my fucking inferno disappeared when i did the kim mission which pissed me off

It's alright, nothing amazing or anything. Pretty much GTA 3 with better graphics/physics and more shit to fuck around with.


I'm really disapointed by the lower level of gore/blood/etc. in this game, I was hoping for hyper realism where you can take a stripper back to your NYC penthouse ala American Psycho and cut her head off before sticking it in the freezer.


To be perfectly honest though, sometimes I'l get out the knife, run up to some random women on the street and just start slashing them to death, then once they are on the ground bleeding I do the overhand stab attack nonstop on their body for like 5 minutes, then I get aroused. (I'm serious) It's pretty hot but not really worth the $70 imo.

well thanks for the replies. its still a good game to me. the only one i would buy in a time of all games being shitty. its fucking gta lol
