Anyone going to spundae this saturday to see Felix and Reza??
I wil be celebrating my 21st birthday here and I hope to see all of you there.
PM me if your going to this.. I have never been to the Avalon b4 and I have no idea what I am getting myself into.
I have heard many great things about the avalon and I am not sure if I will like this event or not...
What I want to know is what kind of people go to these events....
Will I be the only one rolling or are there alot of chill as people I usually find at raves or just a bunch of stuck up assholes ..

I actually think this will be fucking bomb as hell and I'll never want to go to a rave again after buit I don't know....We will see.....

i've been to the avalon a few times, both for edm stuff and more indie rock-type shows.

if you're into the whole candy raver thing than you wont be too stoked on the crowd since this is more of a club scene. maybe a few more assholes but nothing to honestly make u feel uncomfortable. and no, you will not be the only one rolling, but you wont see all the gay etard shit that goes down at raves. it's an older, more mature crowd. it may be less "plury" but i personally always thought that shit was corny anyway.

the avalon is without a doubt NOT a rave crowd. however there will be lots of people who do enjoy electronic music (and hey, if you are a felix fan, you are okay in my book) and many people will be on drugs. there will be no cuddle puddles, no massages, no candy... talking to people is definitely okay, as they'll let you know if they are not on your level (or just not interested). dont sweat it, you'll have a blast.

yeah just look out for the trannys, ive been to avalon many times its a cool spot, lot of cool people there, mostly everyone there is on e till like 8am in the morning, securiy doesnt ever pat anyone down so.

I think it's hilarious that Giant was so uncomfortable with the history of Club Montage that they started calling it 2028 Hancock and now Spin. Admittedly I think Spin is an improvement but it's still not going to vastly increase the number of people that show up. Anyway, I'm always stoked to have Felix in SD and I'll probably try to make it out for this.
