What got u into DnB?

DJ Hive's Hip Hop 2023! I had heard DnB before and liked it but that mix put the genre in a totally new perspective for me.

The very first DnB....hmm...think it was my first warehouse party , they had it broken up into 3 rooms each with a different style. The DnB room was on the 3rd floor and i swear it looked like they were gonna come thru the ceiling, the 3rd floor was where it was at...so i went up to see what the hell was happening...and i heard the deepest hardest basstracks & jumping BPM's evah.....that was it....hooked.

The first 2 raves I went to I was mainly in the DnB room but corny as it sounds it was Pendulums little set(not live) at EDC 07 that got me hooked into DnB.

For me it ws that the Hip Hop Room and Drum and Bass room were the same. After Razel played with Mix Master Mike Diesel Boy went on with his dark Drum and Bass. It was just before a Soildiers Story came out with that dark ass drum and bass combined with the MC.... No other room can touch the drum and bass room. i also like the fact that kandie kidz arent welcome.

Ronis SIze new forums bought it randomly and loved it and that same week my friend had just discovered square pusher and LTJ bukem i was off to the races then i went to a small wherehouse party and heard Deacon spin and fuck the rest is history

but for me... it was how sweet it is in 2006 i was listening to DJ ZINC, i seriously just stood there in one spot the whole time he was up there selecting just dancing and having a great ol' time.

i've never strayed since then....granted, i like electroclash more than drum and bass, and i always have loved electroclash the most, you just never see that at raves, only clubs and in my car... except when felix da housecat plays Monster.

seirously dude the upbeats the fast pace makes my adrenaline rush so much more than like house/trance it makes me want to dj haha but sometimes all the shady people are at d&b so i have to leave or i'll get nervous man it got killed at nocturnal a fucking undercover was standing in the middle of the dancing floor so everyone left
