Difference betwixt Jungle and DnB?

did you listen to the samples i posted? Aphrodites popular shit is outta the 96-99 range of things, shit i post was from 93-95 type shit, his shit definatley isnt the typical oldskool sound. Granted yeah aphrodite did do some oldskool shit with mickey finn though. And why are you bringing frankie bones into this?

well you got to understand i didnt start parting till 99 so thats old to me and i dunno i just thought of frankie bones and thought he was old school to me too

~ows~ ya know your music. dunno where ya got ya info from dude but its spot on - i grew up with football around me (not that im into the football hooligan scene at all) and left that to rave in jungle dancehalls around london at some wicked parties like awol, one nation, desire (look these up on uk ebay if anyone is interested in old skool mixes from raves back in the day). jungle is well different to dnb. jungle sounds betta for a start (in my opinion). over the years jungle has just evolved into dnb. but there IS a big difference. me (and others i know) feel a lot of that is to do wiv the VERY BAD vibes you got at some venues back in the mid ninetys. you always knew it was gonna kick off at some point and proper ravers were gettin fucked off wiv the bad attitude. i think dnb helped push the worries in the dance away. i still cant get down to dnb tho cuz it just aint jungle.

anyway, ello people im new to this site, but not new to my old skool jungle - im from london but movin to tennessee in may - does anyone know of anything jungle goin on in TN or am i gonna have to travel mileage to get down??

I didnt start partying itll about 2 years ago, but the first jungle i got into was the early shit, i mean hell the track that got me into this shit was Atlantis by Ltj Bukem, plus i really like to research things im into just to find the strict root of things.

Frankie bones is oldskool, just not oldskool jungle....

Jungle & DNB - IMO
It's like the difference between a rectangle and a square...

When it comes to the beats.

Vocals Baslines and even melodies are pretty similar.
I find there is more of the "Jah Jah Jah" in jungle than dnb - but that is changing and is probably because it was here first...

Either way it doesn't really matter because I enjoy it all.
