Christian Bruna pulls off a first for the Back2Back Sessions Mix Series as his set is a live recording from his club night, Camouflage, in New York. Upping the ante by doing it live, Christian Bruna pulls off a great 38 minute set full of range, different styles and more. As any artist (and fan alike) can attest to, live drum n bass sets have hundreds of variables all working against artists from sound issues, unstable tables, crowded stages, to much more, but Christian Bruna nor does his set back down one iota! We enter the mix as though we just stepped into the club and Christian is already at maximum speed as he goes from smooth sounds to old skool to new school to dubwise and more. Outside of being a great mix again, taken in context of it being live at a club night it is very easy to imagine a dancefloor of NYC drum n bass heads dancing non-stop to this mix and blend. Major kudos to Christian for upping the stakes with a great mix, this is one you for sure want to cop!

In the land of SoCal with a load of talent on the decks, Subflo shows on his mix why he is a force to be reckoned with on the west coast. From the jump this mix simply is filled from top to bottom with the ‘head nod’ factor. You can really tell that every song was carefully picked and mixed to really show that Subflo can touch upon several styles and deliver effectively. There are several outstanding cuts, but just choosing a few would take away from what the mix itself encapsulates. From Dubwise sounds that will have lightas in the sky to some jump-up which will get the adrenaline pumping to even his heavy heavy tune (co-produced with LA’s own rising stars, Heavy Hittaz), Subflo doles out a very solid mix. Be sure to run this mix through your system with the speakers on crank, boom!
