how much do they make?

I was thinking about this today..
Does anyone know about how much the really big producers (Paul van Dyke, Armin, Deadmau5, etc.) make per show/a year?

I just think itd be interesting to know lol.

it really depends on the show. huge talent will charge more for large shows than club events, etc... the bigger the event, the higher the cost. weekends are normally more expensive than weekdays since the demand is higher, and so on... i'd think if PVD doesn't have to leave Germany his rate is far less expensive than his rate to come to the states.

as far as a ballpark figures (before specifics are figured in)... i would guess PVD, AVB, Tiesto and talent of that caliber cost in excess of 25k to as much as 40k (usd) to book.

my numbers are just a guess. i've only seen figures for america's top talent. that ranges from 5k to 15k, depending on the artist and their draw.

I am closely acquainted with a top 10 DJ and I know that his share of a large event back in December was roughly $16,000 USD.

The rest of the salaries for the dates I saw at clubs and such was more along the lines of $4000 USD.
