What do you think is the greatest trance album of all time?

Im listening to Magik 6: Live in Amsterdam by Tiesto, and I am blown away. It has to be one of the greatest albums ever made.

Okay, now that that's out of the way, Anjunabeats Volume 5 is incredible, I've been listening to it nearly nonstop the past 2 months. I highly recommend it!

I think it would have to be between these:

Oakenfold's - GOA Essential Mix '94
Tiesto - Magik 6
PVD - Politics of Dancing CD
Tiesto - In Serach of Sunrise

However I think Magik 6 might be untouchable.

havent been listening to trance for to long but and all these albums everyone has named are amazing but i think that Armin van buurens universal religion 2007 was BOMB

Not bad, but Oakenfuck's mix was shit on that CD. The tracks were great and it's nice to see that Oakenfold had taste in music at one point in his career but the mixing was absolutely horrid.

I would have put Oakenfold's Transport Mix on the top of that list. Great tracks, great programming, and still frequents my playlist from time to time.

I really like "A Trip In Trance 3 - Plastic Angel - cd2 only"

It's so good that you could give it to someone who has never listened to trance before and it will hook them onto trance for life.

I don't know if you were including all different kinds of trance or what but probably my favorite is Hallucinogen "The Lone Deranger" which is Goa trance.

i have "in search of sunrise" 6 and 7 by tiesto..AMAZING!!i practice my freestyle light shows to it, and its good stuff to help me relax to fall asleep. now i just gotta make it to one of his concerts...bah.ive had 2 unsucessful attempts so far...
