actually my roomate is a big metal head...he heard dj trance from his friend years ago and he just keeps telling me about him...so i really wanna hear some of that old school stuff.

i'd be surprised if your buddy has any, dj trance was mostly a los angeles area guy

i have a mixtape i've been meaning to dub to mp3, crap, what's the name...more humanism i think it was....

anyhow, to tide him over, here's the most well known track that dj trance had ever done, it was done under the name "rebirth"...this song played when dj trance spun at the very first rave i ever went to in 1996, i was on e and 2cb and this song still gives me shivers to this day...

people used to experiment and try new things more often with the old stuff, unfortunately a lot of tracks are almost like they were made with a cookie cutter nowadays, hehe =)

i agree with you though, 1996 is not oldschool, 90-93 i would consider oldschool.....acen, 2bad mice, altern8, etc...

in fact, i was listening to an oldschool dj warlock mix on the way to work, sick sick stuff, it's a bummer that most of the oldschool mixes i find are pretty lo quality, i guess that's what happens when you dub old worn out mixtapes to mp3, hehe...

ehe true i ripped aload of old slamin vinyl tapes an dthey sounded utterly shite, but oldskool has made a big comeback over here and i've got masses of it so if you tell me what you want i'l knock you up a mix.
