What Venue Would You Bring Back?

Yes the place was way nice but I think it's too small.

ya it doesent matter how cracked and dirty the ORION THEATRE was it would be the one to bring back but just for one time only...
it actually kept the scene alive for a while..
does anyone remember they had HOW SWEET IT IS THEIR LOL 2002..
they used like 3 venues to make up for the original venue getting shut down...
they still had their full trance linup that night ..............
i also hated the Qtopia now(vanguard) hated the security reminds me of the hudson lol..............

I never really cared for the Orion. The sound from the balcony level used to always bleed onto the main floor. I remember walking in through the door and always hearing the soundclash of the two system. Used to drive me nuts. The bassment was always chill, though.

I miss the Dome as I have many fond memories there. About a year ago, I ran into a woman who used to work security there. She's an EMT now in San Diego. She doesn't rave anymore but we exchanged some good memories.

As for the ONE venue I'd love to see make a comeback... La Casa.... Hands down. So many trippy times there. I remember one time looking down from the tier and everybody looked like ants dancing around. Barry Weaver was rockin' the decks then Thomas Michael opened up for Christopher Lawrence. They owned me. By the time Christopher Lawrence was on, I couldn't help myself. I made my way to the dancefloor.

Yeah, same here, soooo many memories. I remember this one guy, went by the name MikE, said that he took the bus from his house to the masterdome every weekend, as it was like his second home... I kind of wonder what ever happened to him after the dome was demolished.

I know how that goes...

I was in San Diego those days. My girlfriend and I took the Amtrak to Fox Theater one time. Our roomie was our regular ride, but he had to work and our alternates were already gone. So we jumped on the Amtrak and got dropped off right down the block. When the party was over, we chilled at the "parking lot after party" and caught our train back to SD.

now that is fun, haha, sure as hell beats just driving there.

I still can't believe they closed the fox after some stabbing or whatnot at a hip-hop party, only been there once too, and it was a bomb venue... maybe in the future they will bring it back
