You know, when i hear this term the first thing i think of is bickering politicans and religious leaders. Since when did we all have to agree on the same points, like the same things, and have no margin of difference in either goal, method or destination, to be a raver?

What 'makes' one a raver, cannot be constitued by constraining factors one person feels epitomizes international multitudes.

honestly to be a raver is a complete life style , a love and a passion and an urge an overwhelming sensation. Everything that comes along with parties , its not for me to say, but if a person doesnt like the music, then I dont think they can be a raver.

websters defines a raver as a participant in a rave dancing party.To me it means to be able party be loud be wild, and be able to get into the music without ppl judging me to act like a 12 year old with out the rest of society looking down at me. to know there is a world out there full of love and peace and music. In short to express myself freely and truly be me with out reprocution and to be with ppl just like me who like the things i like and i dont like and always come with an open mind so that our boundries are limitless. To me being a raver is more then just glowsicks and kandi its the ability to view the world as it should be and then expirience it. Many ppl cant do that...... being a RAVER I can. thats what being a Raver means to me

Being a raver. If we're following the rules of the English language it would be simply, one who raves, just as a swimmer is one who swims, a teacher is one who teaches, and a singer is one who sings.

But what is to rave?

The word rave comes from Old North French word "raver", variant of "resver", which is to dream or wander. The American Heritage Dictionary of the English Language says:"1. To speak or write with wild enthusiasm" and

So, to be a raver, you must go to raves, blatantly, and you must be wild, a dreamer, and carefree. And when it's nighttime, you can't tell what time it is, so it's like time has stopped or rather, it is nonexistent.
Ravers are about movement. Ravers are about emotion. Ravers are baroque.
