What do u guys think on prices on events now in days? I remember in mid 90's events where only 5 dollars and the Dj's will be spinnin' till sun up.

well back then promoters had to pay less for dj's, and less for everything. its called inflation and it sucks.

alex the only way is to get a cheap venue, dj's that dont charge alot, and have pople pay for water and such. other than that you are losing money. most promoters dont wana lose money, they wanna make it.

It really sucks, cuz I remember YOull be dancin' till 6-8 in the mornin' or till sun up. Then you can keep goin', marathon status, to a sun-up after party thats free! Or, u can go home with extra money to eat at Denny's or at least gas money. Now in days, u gotta break yourself just to have a good time.

it's definitely expensive. on friday nite between gas, cover charge, water bottle and chemical enhancement i think i was out about 60 or 70 bucks, before denny's on the way home. so completely worth it though. in the underground it's a bit cheaper, and i like the scene better when it all works out. the problem with the underground scene is that a lot of times it doesn't work out. more chance of getting busted, and i've wound up at some shitty parties, one in what was basically a crackhouse. however, the best vibes i've ever experienced were at a tiny one room free underground happycore rave. about 150 people crammed in this little place but everyone was putting off the most incredible energy. it's hard to find that though. peace=happiness Cpt.
