P.L.U.R. Tattoo

I have never considered getting a tattoo until now and I'm still kind of split on the decision, especially with the cost.

But if i were to get one, it would be of the Acronym P.L.U.R. on my upper back/shoulders or lower back.

I could probably design it myself but i was wondering if you guys have seen any really sweet graphics/characters that would go well with this tattoo. or hell...if you're bored and one of the people on the insomniacs thread, design one for me.

just wanna hear what you guys think and any input is appreciated.

I was considering getting PLUR as a tattoo because I believe it what it stands for, rave or not, but it would be small, probably added into another tattoo I want in the future.

Hmmmmm....considering I live by PLUR i'd regret it less than any other possible tattoo....but yeah thats always the double edge sword with body art.

might get it smaller and different location cause of that reason.

Mmm, getting a bands name can be a regret, anyones name is def. possibility for regret, even parents and family.
I dont see how you can regret it, unless, you just have a bad experience with PLUR, or something bad happens to you involving PLUR, I don't see how it can be a bad experience. But then again, people get bud and weed tattoo's you would think later in life they will grow out of it and be like, WTF, why did I get this, so PLUR can be like Weed, you are having fun with it, and you grow out of it, but eh, its still diff.

But tattoos for me are a long ways away, need to money spent else place.

I dont think you could ever really grow out of PLUR nor would you want to. PLUR is a way of life & you should never turn your back on it. I person ally think it would be a good constant reminder to have on you to remind you of how you should be.

Though me personally I think I would not get P L U R but get it wrote out so it would be less of a solgan & more for the meaning. Peace Love Unity Respect. Maybe just simple wrote out in cursive. But thats just my 2 cents on it. Whatever you do make sure its from you & from your heart. Something that you feel is right. :]

I think Tattoos are stupid in General, seriously im going to be the only 80 yr old in America without a tattoo, then we will see who the non conformists are.

Wow. I was lookin for fonts on Google images for ya, and I came across something that would be amazing for a tattoo (whether you'd really get this or not I thought it was real neat)



Oh but anyway I found this one it's kinda kiddy and happy-go-lucky, much like PLUR

maybe get "Peace" and "Love" on one wrist, Peace on the top side and Love on the bottom side. Then get "Unity" on the other top side wrist and "Respect" on the bottom side of the other wrist.

If i saw this girl at a rave......i think i'd kidnap her.

Yeah that'd be cool. I was totally thinking that as well. But I was personally thinking next to eachother rather than one on top one on bottom like, 'peace love' then 'unity respect'. But thats up to you.

But here is were the big question comes into play, or alteast for me, get the words facing you or facing outward.

I am still considering a tat on my wrist my self, "infinite love is the only truth" on one side then on the other, "everything else is illusion" just as a daily reminder to myself.

The only bad thing about having it on your wrist could be some jobs dont like tats but you could always cover it up with a watch and bracelet if needed.

I'm pretty sure I'm gonna go with "Peace" on top of my left wrist, "Love" on top of my right wrist, "Unity" on bottom of my left wrist, and "Respect" on bottom of my right wrist.


I like the idea of them facing away from me better....but i think i'd become annoyed with having to read it upside down, ya know?

either way i have to wait until summer since i'm swimming 3-4 times a week right now.
